just recently picked up a Famicom Disk System... but it has no AC. i do notice however, that it has a place in the back to put six C batteries... will it run off just batteries?
also, has anyone tried the FDS in a generation nex with any success? i don't have a famicom system... but i do have a nex.

i also meant to ask (and can no longer edit...)... what type of AC does the system use, and will i have success in using another system's AC?

You can run it off batteries and NEX should be fine.
You can not use a famicom AC adapter (don't do it). I think it has something to do with AC vs. DC, iirc.
The AC adapter was originally sold seperately. I can't remember the specs right now, but I think there were in another thread once.
