I'm talking about the clear VHS covers you'd see at the video store where you'd either
a. Squeeze the plastic and slightly bend the box to release tape

or-

b. lift the top of the clear plastic case and open to remove the box and take out the vhs.

Having something like this for a nes boxed game would be great! I live in a little studio with my girlfriend (yeah we're new at this thing called life) and it seems like when we cook the smell lingers into our main room. I like displaying my games in a neat fashion, but if i'm going to harm them I may as well seal them in a air tight bin or save up for a 250.00 billy book shelf with glass door :P

any thoughts or ideas about this? Does anyone have a clue about what i'm speaking of?

Do what I do... Dine out. :P

I know what your talking about, but no. Nothing like what your needing. They have these (http://cgi.ebay.com/Super-Mario-Bros-3-Nintendo-NES-Games-Bros-Luigi-case_W0QQitemZ120043202499QQihZ002QQcategoryZ62053 QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem/url), but they don't fit boxes. Besides, I can't use them due to I don't have 300+ to fit my collection in.

I wouldn't worry too much about the smell of cooked food 'ruining' your collection. I've got a two year old. Trust me, food smells are much better...
