I have the opportunity to get the Guy Game for both the Xbox and Ps2. I looked on ebay and there weren't any of either up at the moment, and there were only three completed listings for the ps2 version, one of which sold for over $20. So what I'm asking is, are these games rare, and how much would you say they are worth? Thanks in advance.

They're not rare but ebay won't let you sell them. I sold one on evilbay and they suspended me for 24 hours for it. I had no idea I couldn't.

ahh that makes sense, i hadn't even thought of that. i might pick them up anyway, maybe some day they'll be worth a bit, just like the panesians. probably not though, because every other collector is thinking the same thing.

I think they will become quite rare with time. It may not seem like it now but I am sure the people who originally bought Bubble Bath Babes are kicking themselves in the but for not still keeping a copy of it.

Just a little added story to this subject.
My dad is a security guard at Jack of all Games (a very large video games distribution warehouse). About two months ago we were talking about work and he said that the girl who sueds parents, attorneys, and a bunch of guys showed up at the warehouse with a huge grinder. They loaded 3 full skids of the guy game into it. He said they are not filling orders for it anymore.
I dont know if this game is rare now but it might be harder to find later. It is to my understanding that JOAG distributes to some major places. I also realize the BS factor on this is high but if it wasnt my dad telling me I would not believe it. So take it for what its worth. I own a copy of the game just in case. Oh and I went to highschool with Sarah from the secnd set of girls. Kind of creepy but a great conversation piece when the HS friends come to visit.

Totally different. BBB and the rest of the "adult" games for the NES were never available through traditional retail outlets, making them infinitely more rare.

The eBay thing is new to me... It's certainly been listed there before.
Anyone got an unopened copy that they're not asking a lot for?

Blockbuster? Don't they edit movies that don't fit their moral criteria?

I thought they would have got rid of them to but for whatever reason they have them I have not picked them up. I already own it for the xbox I cant really see myself spend the money on it if ebay wont allow me to sell them.

I am selling it for a friend. I dont think it will sell and soon I will return it to him he listed it on ebay and it was removed. I think $40 is a better price for a new one. I get $35 for the used ones that come into the store. And they sell real fast.

Do you have any used Xbox versions in store? I have been meaning to check out your store, it's just that it's 3 hours away.

Why is it banned from ebay? Do you have any documentation of this?

Blockbuster's never done that, they simply would not carry unrated movies until several years ago (outside of some foreign films that weren't MPAA rated to begin with). People wouldn't have the entire tree rape scene in Evil Dead intact and assume it was because Blockbuster edited their copy of the movie. These cuts were sent to Blockbuster by the movie producers themselves.

Prolly becuase of its grafic content, and the possiblity of minors purchasing them off ebay. The shoulden't ban it from ebay, just make people list it as an adult title.

it is rated M by the ESRB. There are lots of games rated M that I see sold on ebay every day. Why is this game special?

One of the girls on the game was under 18 years old at the time.

Actually, it is not totally banned from eBay. In fact, eBay's only beef with the game is that it has nudity and therefore is considered Adults Only. I've had no problems listing it in the Everything Else: Mature Audiences category. But those searches do not show up on a typical search. You have to actually click on the Everything Else link and go from there. I even currently have one up, but since they don't have an video game section, I put it in the Everything Else: Mature Audiences: DVD movie section.
