Hello, I'm wondering if any fellow Japanese PC Englne/Turboduo users can help me. A while ago I won a Japanese PC Engine Duo (with a caseless Dracula X among other games) for a fairly cheap price via online auction, but sadly when it arrived yesterday the power cord adaptor was incorrect for the system and it's very unlikely I can get the correct one directly from the source.
I have tried looking online for details about this cord and I'm pretty confused about what I should be getting. I've went to Radio Shack today and it seems that I'm out of luck as they only carry 9V and 12V cords. I've found this detail about the TD online "TurboDuo -- 10V DC 1000Ma Positive Tip" and I'm assuming that is the details that i need to get a cord for mine, but this could be the info for a US system and not the Japanese system.
So could anyone assist me here? I am looking for someone to confirm exactly what I need, lead me to a relable place online that I can get this cord for a fair price, or perhaps if I'm really lucky, a user here has a spare one that he can sell to me.
If need be, I can take images of the Duo, but I'm thinking it's not really necessary at the moment. It is Japanese of course, says "PC ENGINE DUO - PC Engine with Super CD-ROM2" on the top in purple letters. Says DC in 10V - @ + near the plug hole.
