Don't know how many of you guys are also Boardgame Geeks (www.boardgamegeek.com) and already know all about this, but I thought I'd spread the word about Tanga.com (www.tanga.com). It's a new site with a strange business model of offering a unique deal for 24 hours.

Anyhow, it opened with a $299 Xbox Premium bundle, and tonight has this Gameboy deal (doesn't seem *that* great), so you guys might want to stay tuned for future videogame deals.

The thing that keeps me coming back (even more than the possibility of a boardgame deal), is the daily puzzle. I haven't missed one yet, although they vary quite a bit in difficulty, which is more a testament of dorktitude than anything else :)

Have fun.

Thanks for the link! I'll put it in my bookmarks and add it to the list of sites I check daily.

This site looks extremely shady.

I love Tanga more than life itself!

-Ron Williams, Las Vegas Strip (Ron is a homeless man we met on the Strip. We gave him $5 and he gave us this quote)

How is he a customer when you paid him $5 and he didn't purchase anything from you? The site does sound out there and a bit shady as well.

It's just a joke quote, like the quotes in the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy adventure game booklet from Infocom (if anyone can remember those). The site may be a bit too quippy for it's own good but it is certainly legitimate. I suppose my UPS tracking numbers for purchased items can be for boxes of poo, but I suspect not.

One thing I've noticed is that is takes them two days to get packages out, which I hope improves as they get warmed up as a business.
