I saw a boxed copy of the original Ninja Gaiden for pc. It comes with the large floppy and the 3.5" disc. The box was taped so I couldn't see what exactly was included. It's only $2, should I buy it or is there not really any demand for it?

Bleh my ass, suppa! LOL
Buy it now. Then let us pirate it.
Joking, of course, since I would never condone pirating, yar, I mean, yeah.

If I remember correctly this was a crappy port of the original arcade Ninja Gaiden - which wasn't that good to begin with. I'm sure it originally retailed for no more than $5 as a bargain title - I seem to recall buying a copy at one point. :embarrassed:

If you're particularly interested in trying it out, it is available at Home of the Underdogs. But indeed, the original Ninja Gaiden is thoroughly unremarkable.

You can pretty much count the number of PC titles that are worth more than a couple of bucks on one hand. That might be a slight exageration, but not much.

Mega Man for the PC is an abomination by all accounts I am familiar with. Entirely different from the NES version, and done by an entirely different development crew, if memory serves.

Surprisingly, as far as PC ports go Castlevania had a pretty good one. The gameplay and control was solid, and the game was totally playable. It was a lot better than the Commodore and Amiga versions of the game.
