They said it couldn't be done... They lied.
Pirates and Iso groups have known about this for years. It takes forever to transfer an xbox disc over FTP, this is how they do it. I'm giving people the software step by step instructions they need to read Xbox games on their PC.

Ummm I've been using the Samsung SH-D162C Dvd drive in my Pc for 3 months now to make backups of my Xbox and Xbox360 games.
And you can use the Samung SH-D613A also.
Then you burn them on DL Verbatim disks and you have backups.

Did you have to update your firmware or any of that crap for it to work in your xbox? I want to try this but I dont want the potential of MS banning me from XBL. Thanks for the help.

On the 360 you need to update the firmware but the new fimware is undetectable by Microsoft (it's not readable) so they won't be able to ban you.
On the original Xbox you need a modchip.
