anyone has seen it?
just been released on marketplace, tv and selected cinemas.
suggesting to see it in hd.
I'm impressed with how good this game looks, and how beautifully trailer has been done, I knew that game will look just insanely good but, man...this is probably the most advanced graphically game on any system and probably will be for a months to come.
the nature of the trailer is very sad, fight to the very end...
I dig it.

Thank God I wasn't the only person totally blown away by this ad. (see my very short opinion in the XBL update thread)
At first I thought the remake of "Mad World" had been used to death, but after a few viewings I realized the music actually fit the bleak, post-apocolyptic vision perfectly if you listen to the lyrics.
Kudo's to the ad agency that did this commercial. It's definately got me excited about the game now.

That commerical, made at least over a hundred people cry because of that song lol That was a sweet choice for the mood of the game, Gears of War. I can't wait to play it.

Ok, while this is a great ad to set the tone for the title, the new HD trailers over at Gametrailers have absolutely soiled me. Honestly, I'm wallowing in feces right now and I watched them yesterday, I just can't stop shitting myself.

The last one doesn't look quite as high quality as the others, but it really displays the brutality very well with some beautiful chainsaw kills, and the end of it is just classic.

Wow, that is incredibly graphic and I love it. LOL
Gears is turning out to be the most stylish game I have ever seen. Not just the game itself, but in it's promotions, parties, and adds. Did anyone hear about the Hollywood Forever party thown a few days ago?

If there was ever a game that deserved to be bought at new at retail price to support the developers this one is it (and Oblivion). The developers really made something special. It great to see a nicely developed game.
I gotta admit, when I saw the perfectly rendered combination of fear, anger and sadness on the guy's face as the flash from his rifle lit him up near the end ... I was moved. A little. :embarrassed:

Oh - I thought the last 4 seconds was the best part.
The longshot of that thing about to slam all of his tentacles down on top of Marcus, and all the locust rising up like army ants from the hole.
Marcus firing his gun in blind desperation...
I got chills.
