Hi Folks,

I was playing my PSP last night and discovered that the left direction on the cross pad was stuck on. Naturally, I opened up the PSP to find out why it was stuck and it turns out my cross pad was cracked in half! Well, not half, so much as the right direction was snapped off. Is there anywhere to buy this replacement part?

What a stupid thing to break! I would think this should be one of the most durable pieces, but I won't go on a Sony quality control rant. ;)

Gorilla glue is your friend.

I wouldn't think that Gorilla Glue would work in a situation like this. The game is a very small, closed in space, and Gorilla Glue is an expanding glue. I would think that your run of the mill CA (super glue) would be better.

Super glue is brittle, and gorilla glue needs to be clamped together. Since no clamp is holding this piece correctly without both pieces flying out, and elastics and such are even worse, I use two dabs of superglue on the edges (to hold the pieces together instead of clamps) and gorilla glue in the middle part. Since gorilla glue takes 400 years to dry, I'll let you know how it works.

In the meantime, does anyone know where to get a replacement D Pad? Anyone got a shitty broken PSP they use for spar parts?
