the ps2 one looks a little bit like a beat 'em up. no one on gamefaqs played it so i can't confirm this. do any of you guys have kids or something or own this?

Well if they keep them anything like they did on older consoles, then they will in fact be a beat'em up. The one I can recall off of the top of my head is Ahh! Real Monsters. I do also remember many other Nickolodean games that were of the beat'em up persuastion. Which one are you talking about specifically?

anyhow i'm referring to Nicktoons! Unite and the Battle of Volcano Island or whatever its called. one of them might be a smash bros. clone but i can't tell about the other.

The screenshots looked like a brawler to me....
I don't believe they are beat 'em ups, but I could be wrong.

I have it. It was a plaforming adventure game with little obsticles that you had to overcome using different abilites of the different monsters. Insanely hard too.
