Today i finaly recived the last Mega Man game (so far) to complete my collection! The last game i needed was Mega Man ZX for DS. Very easy to get i know, but havnt taken the time to order it before now. It took about 2 years to gather all games. Now i finaly have every Mega Man game! :)

I know that i dont have the PCB boards for Power Battle, Power Fighters and Medal Operation, but these arent games you could just pick up in the stores, unfortunatly. I can probly buy Medal Operations easy, but im sure it will cost me around $2000 for the PCB alone. Maybe i'll get it in some years, who knows. I have seen both PB and PF for sale long time ago. Kinda regret i didnt pick them up, but the PS2 version will have to do for now. I'm mostly focused on games you could buy in the stores anyway :)

I dont count games like Marvel VS Capcom as a Mega Man game because hes a carcacher there. Maybe i'll pick them up some day anyway tho. Anyway, enjoy the pics! ;)

My holy grail in the Mega Man collection, Rockman Strategy for PC! Took me over a year to get a complete copy. When i finaly did, it turned out to be in near mint condition too :)

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000115.jpg
Possibly a Rockman Strategy variation? On the version above the CDs says Disc 1 and Disc 2, but this have some chinese (or something) letters. There is also some extra text on from of the manual and the CDs are in a jewelcase instead. This one is bought from Taiwan and the other from China. Possibly different languages in the game, havnt checked.

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000116.jpg
All NES games, PAL versions. Also including Mega Man 2 german version who got a different cover as you can see. All are PAL-B versions.

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000117.jpg
All NES games, USA versions. All complete, but manual for Mega Man 1 is a photo copy. Havnt bothered picking up an original manual yet, but i will do it some day.

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000120.jpg
Rockman 1-6 and Rockboard for Famicom. All are complete.

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000119.jpg
Mega Man 1-5 for Gameboy and Mega Man Xtreme + Xtreme 2 for Gameboy Color. All are complete.

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000123.jpg
Rockman World 1-5. Exactly the same as the GB versions, but with japanese text. All are complete.

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000128.jpg
Mega Man 7, Mega Man X1 - X3 and Mega Man Soccer. The extra copy of MM Soccer is missing the manual, but i think all MM 7 doubles got the manual, forgot to check. All are PAL versions except MM Soccer who only got out in USA for SNES.

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000127.jpg
Rockman & Forte, the rest is the same as above, but Super Famicom versions instead. All complete.

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000126.jpg
Mega Man - The Wily Wars and Rockman Mega World. RMW is the same as TWW, just that its in Japanese. Think 1 TWW copy is missing the manual, but the rest should be complete atleast.

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000130.jpg
Bunch of PSX games and some for Saturn. All PAL versions and complete if nothing is mentioned.

- Mega Man Legends 1
- Mega Man Legends 2
- The Adventures of Tron Bonne
- Battle & Chase
- Mega Man X3
- Mega Man X4
- Mega Man X5
- Mega Man X6
- Mega Man 8
- Mega Man 8 10 years anniversary edition (USA version)
- Mega Man 8 (japanese version)
- Rockman Dash (japanese version, same as Mega Man Legends)
- Super Adventure Rockman (both PSX and Saturn version)
- Rockman X3 (Saturn version)

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000125.jpg
- Mega Man Network Transmission (Gamecube, PAL)
- Mega Man Anniversary Collection (PS2, Xbox, USA)
- Rockman Power Battle Fighters (PS2, JAP)
- Mega Man X Collection (PS2, USA)
- Mega Man X Command Mission (PS2, PAL)
- Mega Man X7 (PS2, PAL)
- Mega Man X8 (PS2, PAL)

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000132.jpg
Various Mega Man games. All complete.

- Mega Man (Game Gear)
- Rockman Battle & Fighters (Neo Geo Pocket)
- Rockman & Forte (Wonderswan)
- Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge (Wonderswan)
- Rockman EXE WS (Wonderswan)
- Rockman X2 (Gameboy Color, same as Xtreme 2 for GB)

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000133.jpg
Various PC games. All complete, except X4.

- Mega Man (2 variations. 1 box where you take the whole top lid of and another where you open just the top, like a NES game)

- Mega Man 3 (Same here, 2 variations. One where you lift the whole top lid off and another where you have to remove the jacket first. The box under is just a white cartboard box)

- Rockman 1-6 (Afaik this is a fully licensed game released by Ubisoft, possibly in China only. It contains Rockman 1-6 FC ports, nothing else hehe.

- Rockman X4 (Taiwan or Chinese version)

- Mega Man X4

I also have Mega Man Legends and Rockman X8, but i forgot to include them in the picture.

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000131.jpg
Tiger handheld Mega Man games. Mega Man 2 and 3.

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000135.jpg
Some pirates and 2 games from Brazil.

- Mega Man 6 Playtronic (I think this is fully licensed)

- Mega Rockman 2 (or something like that. Exactly the same game as Rockman 2, but with hacked titlescreen if i remember correctly. Doubt its licensed)

- Rockman 3 (72 pin NES pirate)

- Rockman 3 (Gameboy, exactly the same as Rockman World 3)

- Rockman 1-6 (Famicom pirates. Both containing Rockman 1-6, but label is different)

- Mega Man X3 (Now this is a interesting one, Mega Man X3 for Genesis/Mega Drive! :) Overall its a very good port, but its far from as good as the SNES version. Been a while since ive played it, but the controllers wasnt the best)

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000143.jpg
I forgot to include this game in the previous pic so it will get a picture of its own. I really dont count this as a Mega Man game, but it got a Rockman logo and artwork in the title screen. Game is called Thunder Blaster Man and its made my Sachen. Not exactly a pirate, but i doubt they were allowed to use the Rockman title and artwork hehe. Boring game tho.

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000134.jpg
Various promotion stuff and some music CDs. The game is Mega Man 8 PAL version, review copy. The pins are from Rockman 3. The green case is some DVD you got for free if you pre-ordered Rockman ZX, also contains some stickers. The flyer is some magazine cutouts (i think) and the rest are music CDs :)

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000141.jpg
Some guides. The big ones are for newer games like Mega Man Zero and Battle Network. The guide with the Mega Man 3 cover covers Mega Man 1 - 3 for NES + Gameboy (what the cover says atleast). One is for Rockman World 5 and the other is some info book called Perfect Memories or something.

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000140.jpg
A bunch of Rockman comic books i bought from Hong Kong. Anyone have some info on these?

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000142.jpg
Some comics from USA. 4 issues total, the top 3 is the same, but with different cover art. Anyone have some info on these as well?

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000138.jpg
The big box is Rockman Collection for PSX. It contains Rockman 1-6, Rockman X7 demo and some pins. The smaller box is Rockman X4 Special Limited Edition, Saturn version. It contains X4 and some toy. All games are new and sealed.

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000137.jpg
Rockman EXE 4 Limited Edition both Red and Blue version. For some odd reason both the GBAs are blue. Would be more logical if one was red and the other was blue. The other is Rockman EXE 2 Limited Edition. Contains the game + a GBA with Rockman EXE artwork.

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000145.jpg
All Battle Network releases, Battlechip Challenge and Rockman EXE 4.5. All are sealed except Battle Network 3 and EXE 4.5.

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000146.jpg
Same as above, but most are europan version. Some duplicates too.

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000144.jpg
Mega Man Zero 1-4 for GBA, all sealed. Also show Mega Man Zero 2 Europe version, different artwork. Other is Mega Man & Bass, 2 copies are sealed. I also have the european version, but forgot to include it in the picture. It got different artwork.

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000136.jpg
Some japanese GBA releases. Rockman Zero 1 and 2, Rockman & Forte and some EXE game, dont remember which.

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/Rockman_Megaman/IM000118.jpg
- Mega Man Powered Up (PSP)
- Mega Man Maveric Hunter X (PSP)
- Mega Man Double Team (DS)
- Mega Man ZX (DS)

This should be every game unless i've forgotten about something. For a complete list of all Mega Man games click here (http://www.mmhp.net/GameHints/GameList.html) (mind, not all games are pure Mega Man games).

Wowza.

Rockman Strategy would indeed seem to be quite a score. Aren't there something like four collectors in North America with a copy of that one? Did you buy it in Asia yourself?

I am unfamiliar with that particular box art for Mega Man 1 GB. This is the one I've usually seen:
http://www.mobygames.com/game/gameboy/mega-man-dr-wilys-revenge/cover-art/gameCoverId,15222/
(It actually looks pretty freakish up close.)

Weren't there a couple of other official PC ports of the Mega Man X games? X3 and X5, I think?

And are you going to go for the Rockman version of Settlers of Cataan that someone mentioned here recently? :D

I got Rockman Strategy some months ago from a guy in China, the complete copy that is. He was selling another Rockman game and i asked if he had Rockman Strategy and what do you know, he had it! :) I dont think many in USA/Europe have it.

Ah, i forgot about the USA artwork for MM1 GB :) My copy is from Germany. Not sure if theres a european version with the USA cover, but i do remember that cover from my old Nintendo magazines. On the other hand, they used alot of USA cover pics.

Yep, there are a few other PC ports too. Ive seen X, X3, X4 and X7. Possibly all X excist for PC too.

Thanks for taking that up with Settlers of Cataan, i totaly forgot about it. I have 2 Rockman board games. Here are the pics:

darn. I have a copy of MM.X (pc) at home in MA, wish I knew where though. I'd deff trade for a backup of that mega man music cd!

I found a copy when it was first released and was about to purchase it in a mall music store, but walked away to get my pops in another part of the mall :(

what kinda songs are on it? For some reason I have thought for the past few years there is rap on the compilation, is there? (i don't like rap, but eh.)

also, is it a lic. capcom product? I don't remember.

It's a special transparent blue version of the Ultimate X armor from X4 with gold trim.

BTW Megaman X2 was never given a PC Windows release for North America. No idea if there was one elsewhere since Korea's been getting X6, X7, X8 etc for the PC there. Doubt it.

Tnx for all the comments :)

I think all the music CDs are licensed by Capcom. 1 is a not for sale promo CD with Capcom 1993 all rights reserved text on the back. Another CD also have Capcom a.r.s text on it. The last got some url on it, check it out: http://www.etlanz.com/. The not for sale and Etlanz CD got real Mega Man music on them, some mixes too, the last got some normal music, possibly from a TV show?

The toy in X4 is some sort of huge kinderegg toy. You have to build it yourself and apply stickers etc. I could take a picture, but its not really much to see since isnt assembled. Bratwurst described how it looks i see :)

Hehe, i doubt i will start collecting the figures and chips. Its too damn much :) However, i will try to get all the Rockman games too, missing like X5 and X6 etc. After that, maybe the US version of the games, dont have any plans for it yet atleast.

The Mega Man games for Mega Drive, i bought 2 from Germany and 2 from Italy. The ones from Italy are also brand new. I dont remember how much i payed, but i think it somewhere between $50 - $80 in average, for each that is.

Shame on the people treating jajaja like he was a common walmart. Digital Press members should be able to show off their collection here without getting hounded for chunks of it. It's not like Megaman games are the rarest things in the world either.

That Chinese Curiosity Rockman Strategy is probably going to become more common down the road. It's so easy to reprint PC games, especially in China- to say the least of how many copies are already out there waiting for their current owners to become aware that western collectors want them.

jajaja
11-08-2006, 09:50 AM
Its no problem unless people start to nag (not yet happend) hehe :)

You're right, most of these arent super duper rare, you can accuire all yourself with much patient. Also depend what you're going after, all games (like Mega Man X4 USA and thats it, skip PAL and JAP version), all variations, all Mega Man and Rockman games etc. Many ways to go.

As for all games, they can be reprinted indeed, but its not likely to happend with Rockman Strategy. Afaik theres hardly any demand for this game, hell, i didnt hear about it before a year ago or so and after my experience very few have. There must be a big demand for them to start reprinting this game, legaly that is. Sure, alot of collectors wants it, but thats just a handfull. Piracy has always excisted, but its usualy easy to spot. The people who pirate does it for the money so there must still be the demand for it or else they wont profit.

This game is also hard to find even if you live in China. I've asked alot of people who lived there, no one found it. I also had 2 friends who went to China on vacation and both didnt find it even after asking in several of stores. I asked the guy i bought it from if he could get more copies, but he couldnt. He said it was very hard to find, even in Bejing where he lived.

Also, I think there were TWO Rockman Arrange CDs, not one... *scratches head*

I think its licensed. Its impossible to see on the pic, but on Rockman's left foot there is a Capcom (r) logo, right above the small white box. This was just a game i came over and i picked it up. Even if it was a bootleg it doesnt matter. Its the same game as the PSX and Saturn version anyway :)

Your absolutely right, theres 2 arranged promo CDs. The one i have is Volume 2. I have hardly searched for Volume 1, but i will pick it up for sure if i see it ;)

Nice collection, but you are missing a few items that I have in my own:

EXE 5: The Movie Edition
EXE5 : LE Sets (ToB and ToC)
Megaman Legends/DASH on PC
Rockman DASH Beta Disc
Rockman EXE 4 x Double Edition
Irregular Hunter X
Rockman Rockman
Rockman Rockman "logo" edition
Rockman X8 PC
Rockman X6 PC
X7 PC
And the cell phone games (which can easily be gotten legally)
EXE 6 DX (both versions)

Shockingly, all the TAKARA PET toys are also counted as games too (Advanced, Progress, Plug-In, and Link EX)

Also, are these games for real? Honestly, having that many "Mega Worlds" just seems too unreal to me, they run from $40-100, money that could have easily been spent on PB, PF, Medal Edition, and Battle Chip Stadium V1, 2, and the upcoming 3.

I'd like to see some of the carts and discs if ya don't mind, I'm not saying I dont believe you, but, I've seen many "phoney" Rockman collections in the past and I'd hate for this one to be another.

fcw3: lol. Nope, i dont have the GC version, wont buy it either unless its $10 shipped or so. Its the same game as PS2 and Xbox.

Mariomania: No, MM5 was the last MM game that hit Europe and Australia. Only USA and Asia got MM6. Possibly a proto/sample was sent over here for evaluation, but it never got out in the stores.

Protodude: My goal was to get all the games you could buy in the stores. If i have X4 PSX PAL i dont need X4 for PC, Saturn, JAP and USA version. Stuff like promo, music cds, comics, movies and variations are all bonus to me :) As mentioned, variations are not games of their own.

I though about getting the cellphone games, but not sure i want to buy a cellphone just for those. Having them on PC or a burned disc is not the same. Only virtual games anyway, no box or disc/cart based media for them. And no, i will not start to collect PET, someone asked me that earlier too. They are games indeed, but more like toys in my eyes. I might as well start with all the figures etc. then hehe. I have Rockman X8 and MM Legends for PC. Its written under the PC picture, i forgot to include them in the pic. I also have many more duplicates and 2 brand new Mega Man 2 with GPS code :D

Can you give me more info on the EXE 5 LE, ME and Rockman Rockman "logo" edition? Also, please show me the phoney Mega Man collections, i want to see :)

but if at all a possibility you should look into making a rip of rockman strategy. the "only 4 copies in the US" or whatever guys said they tried to and failed, but i can't imagine it's got any ubercrazy protection or anything. if you'd be at all willing to try it would be awesome...hardly anyone's ever got to try the game, and if there was a copy going around, someone may even translate it. Just a thought. Totally your stuff, and I'd understand if yuo wouldn't want to do potentially questionable things with such a rare item.

Unfortunatly im not going to spread the images due to various reasons. But i can tell you that the game is unplayable without knowledge of the chinese language. You need to be able to read the menus in-game etc to know what to do, you cant guess your way through either (unless you try alot) because of the numerous of options you have. A translation patch would have been awesome, but to find someone with the knowledge (both language and computer), time and devotion is very hard :(

I'll glady show ya some of those games:)

Unfortunatly, I can't seem to find my pictures of the phoney collections, but you can honestly tell they're fake. Some collectors just printed out pictures of boxart and slapped them onto boxes :p

Anyway, here they are:

EXE 5 LE (includes game, guidebook, and SaitoBatch E-card)

And here's one I totally forgot, Rockman Pinball (spent some of my savings money on it, coming in a few weeks)

EXE5: The Movie Edition (Colonel version with new game scenerios, movie tickets, bag of popcorn, and FCR E-Card)

Rockman Rockman Logo Edition (No difference in game content, but the logo "RR" was added to the front of the box to generate some excitment)

Thanks for the pics :) Heh, printing fake covers and glue them on some boxes, whats the point in that? I didnt know about the Pinball machine. Looks extremely kiddy tho, like those small pinball machines you find in some stores and if u get some points you get a gum or a toy hehe (is that a toy/gum slot down left?). Wouldnt mind owning it tho lol ;) The other games are just variations, nothing im missing to have all games.

The logo "edition", i wouldnt go that far calling that a variation. Cool to have, but surely not something i would buy extra just to have a sticker, i already have the game. Altho if i come across it cheap maybe i'll pick it ut =) What does the sticker say btw?

Btw, the EXE 4 is called double pack, not double edition ;) Its actually on its way to me now so yet another variation to add to the collection hehe. The guy who sent me it also mentioned something about a wristband for EXE 5, you know anything about that? I'll ask him some more.

If i'm not mistaken there is also a Mega Man X release for PC that also includes a controller. The X6 pack-in for the 3d-card is also sweet, but im alittle suprised with the choice of game. Usualy pack-ins include fairly advance games to show what the 3dcard can do, but this card is capable of running alot more advance games than X6. The X8, i cant see any pads on the pics or is it just a stock pic of X8?

Hahah!

The sticker on the Logo edition basically says "make your own stages!" nothing more than a ploy to generate interest in buying the game.

A wrist band with EXE 5? It wasnt included in my set, its probably just a bonus the guy is sending LOL Still cool by the way!

As for X/with controller, a taiwain version includes the controller, it's quite big in fact, it's not really worth it though, I bought it a few years back and I can honestly say the controller is very cheap.

Looks like I forgot to put up the controller for X8! :p I'll add it in a weebit.

Anyway, I gotta know man, where the heck did ya find RMStrategy?? I've searched high and low for years and i havn't found it at all!

As for my collection, I have 95 out of the 115 games, missing the WonderSwan, NeoGeo, DASH Beta, RMstrategy, and a few cellphone games. (Bought a Foma)

Ah ok. You know if Capcom applied it or Play-Asia (noticed P-A logo on the pic)? I have no idea about the wristband, he just said: "I think you are talking about a WRISTBAND.", his exact words. I asked more what he ment, will post any new info (if any) when i get reply. Ah, Taiwan version of X8, my version is from Thailand.

*Warning! Long text ahead, but hang in there! lol*

Rockman Strategy, i know the long search, it sux :( The first copy i found was actually found on Ebay. A woman in Taiwan sold it, buy-it-now price, $5! She only shipped inside Taiwan, but damn, i was so pumped when i saw it i pressed the BIN button anyway. I would easaly sacrifice a negative feedback for it if the deal didnt go through. She only accepted bank transfer so i had to get a friend to do the job for me, my bank couldnt transfer to Taiwan. After the bank fees + some thank-you money to my friend i ended up paying like 40 - 50 for it lol, but it was totoaly worth it. Only small downside was that the box was missing. Btw, did you know that there are over 2000 banks in Taiwan? lol :)

The 2nd copy (complete) i got was just pure luck. I saw a guy who was selling the Rockman 1-6 FC port for PC and i noticed he was from China. As you probly know, RS was released in China and Taiwan so i asked if he had it. Amazingly, he had it! Payed up and 1 week later the EMS package was delivered to my door. Over 1 year of search was finaly over. I asked if he could get more copies, but unfortunatly the answer was no :\

So the best way is to ask every chinese looking person, even stop random people on the street and ask them, lol kidding LOL But seriously, ask around alot. Go to gaming forums etc, hunt down people who live in China in any way.
I asked a friend to translate to chinese with "normal" letter:

ni neng zhaodao pc youxi rockman strategy ma?
ta shi zai zhongguo/taiwan yu 2001nian faixing de.
wo keyi fu gaojia mai ruguo ni neng zhaodao ta de hua, xiexie.

It means something like "Do you have Rockman Strategy for PC? It was released in China/Taiwan in 2001." Maybe something you can use on your search. Dont think theres much more help i can give you then, but i wish you good luck on the search. I'm sure you will find it some day! :)

Btw, why are you counting a beta as a game of its own (one of the 115)? Sure, its very cool to own, but isnt it just a preview/sample disc of Dash?

Protodude
11-10-2006, 03:50 PM
Acutally, the DASH Beta is a completely different game from the DASH we know and love.

Character models are different, story scenerios are different, bosses are different, voice actors are differen and much more!

The beta is considerd to be one of the most rare Rockman games around, becuase Capcom of Japan only gave away 25 copies to subscribers to the "Capcom Gamers Club."

I have plenty of screenshots too, but it's a bit off topic, I'll PM them to ya if you want.

Ah ok, so its a early build/prototype. I love prototypes where the games got alot of difference from the retail version. A friend of mine has a Mega Man 2 NES prototype, it got small differences in the text, kinda cool. I wouldnt count it as a own game tho (if so, you have many MM prototypes out there :)), but its damn cool to own for sure!

Sure, send me the screens over PM :) My biggest wish of game now is MM Anniversary for GBA. A proto do excist, but i wonder if it will ever get out of Capcom HQ. Imagine, owning a unreleased MM game. Still hoping for a retail release.

For the other Mahjong game, i see in a previous mail that he called it "Rockman Exe DONJARA" whatever that means hehe :)

They've got "EXE" rendered with the phoneticization of "e-gu-ze" which strikes me as a a little odd. I have no clue what "donjara" is -- might be an actual Japanese word instead of a phoneticization of an English word. I'm too lazy to look up the kanji above that, but the bit with yellow on red below it is a phoneticization of "compact", and I think the text on the lower left is saying "(play/take/? it) anytime, anywhere" or something like that. Sounds like a small travel version, which makes me wonder if there's a bigger version out there...

Also, again, being too lazy to look up kanji, does it really say Mahjong on it anywhere? I mean, it LOOKS like mahjong, and it probably is, but I can't read the furigana over the kanji in the middle, and none of them look quite right, though my Japanese skills have surely gone to shit over the years, so that's no guarantee that it DOESN'T say "mahjong"...

Holy crap, your collection rocks!! I like the PAL box art for the classic series rather then the US releases myself.

slapdash: I have no idea what kinda game it is hehe :) I saw someone earlier mentioned mahjong and it does look alittle mahjongish. I will never be able to play it tho, not with japanese knowledge :\ Dont know if theres a bigger version out there, it wouldnt suprise me. I saw this on Yahoo Japan for the first time and thats where it was bought from.

kainemaxwell: Ye, i also think some of the european boxes are cooler, like german MM2 for NES (they dont beat the FC versions tho ;)). I also like Battlechip Challenge europan cover better. I find USA version of X7 and X8 covers cooler than european tho :)

Well, nobody can translate it if the game isn't even available to more than a handful of people :P I will stop bugging you about this now i just felt the need to ask.

That's a beautiful collection. Seeing that and the guy with all the Castlevania games makes me want to start completing a Pac-Man collection or something. I have a complete Golgo 13 set (save the stand-up arcade game) but that's like 10 games. -_-

Rockman - Mega World for Mega Drive... Is this game considered rare by Mega Drive people? And what would be a fair price for it?

Depends on how you define rare. Its not omg rare, but its uncommon for sure. I payed $60 for my complete copy which seems to be about the average price.

Yeah, I didn't really want to use the R-word... Anyways, there's a complete copy up on ebay now. $90 BIN, plus shipping from Japan. Seemed a bit high.

$90 is alittle high ye, unless its brand new :) For a used copy its $50 - $75 i say.

Arcade games are already mentioned in the first post. Rockman 4 gold is just a variation. Its the exact same game as Rockman 4, just as a gold cart, which i wont pay $5000 for hehe ;)

Approx. everything has been told, except there are Rockman X3 for PC as well..i don't know for X2 but from X3,X4,etc..there are PC variations for SURE,since i own them :)
You don't have all variations like Rockman 1,2,3,4,5,6 PSOne separately, since you have them in Rockman Collection,i can't blame you for that :)

And since you said Audio CDs are bonus, then i won't say anything, coz you're missing a LOT of those! :)

Nice collection.

Specially for his Brazilian Megaman games.

The Mega Man 6 by Playtronic is liscensed by Nintendo because the Playtronic is the former Nintendo´s Brazilian Distribuitor.

The Playtronic is a Joint Venture with Gradiente ( Electronics company who manufacturate the Atari 2600 with Atari Corp licence and the Phantom System, a NES clone before Playtronic´s creation ) and Estrela ( a Brazilian toymaker ).

One the Playtronic´s problem is his price: Higher than Tec Toy ( Brazilian Sega´s distribuitor ).
Late release of NES in 1993, during 16 bits fever and Master System´s populariry is other problem.

In 1996, Estrela is going out to association and Playtronic is named Gradiente Enterntainment now.

The Gradiente represents the Nintendo until 2003, when the Brazilian company is quit the Brazilian Video Game Market because the strong presence of bootleg games.

I played the Mega Man 2 and 3 pirate carts from my cousin, but unfortunately he is sold the two games.

Do you have the consoles and hardware to be able to play all the games?

Very nice. You even have the PC games.

Must say, even if it's not full of rarities, it's very impressive to look at, and any collection that big and that thorough must have required patience to put together.

Adol: I mentioned X3 for PC earlier, check page 1 ;) I've never heard of X2 for PC, but im not suprised if it got out in Taiwan or somthing. I can buy X4 for PC complete now, but its rather pricey i think. Is it really worth anything? Ye, music is bonus to me, my goal was games only. Theres also like tons of VCDs with Rockman stuff and magazines/books too.

B-Mark: Thanks for the info on Playtronic :) Nice to know since i also collect NES.

Gentlegamer: Nope, i dont have PSP, Neo Geo Pocket or Saturn (had, but sold it long time ago) so there are a few games i havnt tried yet. I also have a DS, but its a limited edition that i wanna keep unused so i cant play the DS games yet. I have systems for the rest of the games tho :)

Snapple: Ye, it was nice to finaly put the last game (for now, new Mega Man games are comming real soon ;)) in the collection! :D

I bought some new stuff lately:

Rockman Power Battle 1 JAMMA (arcade board) and Rockman EXE 4 double Pack. I dont have a picture of the double pack handy, maybe i'll take it later, but heres a pic of Power Battle atleast :)

For the record, I'm aware of ports of Mega Man 1 and Mega Man 2 (not X1 & 2) to PC. They were done by Hi-Tech for Capcom. I got them on a CD version of SFII for PC, but they were released seperately. Totally different games too...weird.
