That guy has been selling them for a long time, and he has many listed. Also, from his listing:

"JUST MANUFACTURED NEW 3RD PARTY ATARI 2600 /7800 OR COMMODORE JOYSTICKS"

I'm betting they are Chinese repros.

There was a discussion on AA regarding these as well. Apparently, they are carbon copies of the ORIGINAL joysticks. These are not the flashback repros at all. People that have purchased them are saying they look and feel (inside and out) just like the orginal CX-40.
