View Full Version : Questions about an Odyssey 2 i just found?

Hello! over the weekend i found an odyseey 2 system in its box with 17 games. i know nothing about this system and ive never seen one before, but i figured 20 bucks for everything almost had to be an OK deal. But anyways i got home to hook it up and it dont have the AC adaptor? anyone know what kind of adaptors work with these?? Also another question >>> the TV RF thingy wont fit on my new TV?? lol its got like this fatter cable end on it and wont fit? What do ya need to get to make this thing work? anyhelp would be grealty appreciated thanks!

The best way to hook up an Odyssey 2 to a TV is with an RF Box (TV/Game Switch).
Alternatively, you can also make a trip down to Radio Shack and pick up an RCA Female to F-Male adapter or a Phono to F-Type. It fits right on the end of the Odyssey cable and then screws into the tv.
And as for your AC power supply, a regular NES AC unit works just fine. Hope this was helpful.

If it has the goofy non-standard RF cord, you can replace it like this:

As for the NES power adaptor - it should work, but some units do not take that plug! Just an FYI!
Good point! I forgot that some older models won't take the NES power supply...they will take the Atari power supply, however.
