GameCrazy is having their classic plastic sale 3 for $10

It's 3 games for $10 for all nes, snes, gen, n64, psone, and dreamcast games. Most of the stuff has been picked clean from other sales, but I still managed to find some good stuff.

Record of Lodoss War (guy said that was a $20 game before the sale)
Sonic Adventure
Jet Grind Radio
Pilotwings (snes)
Mega Man 3 (NES)

The bad thing about this place is that basically all of the stuff is loose. The stuff there is cheaper than McVans, which is the only other place in my area that carries classic stuff.

Of course the trick is to first find a GameCrazy that still sells anything older then original PlayStation games.

Yeah I still have 3 that sell older stuff, but its slowly going away.

This reminds me of Rhino with their buy two get, one free on anything dreamcast and older. That made getting Earthbound a little more reasonable seeing as it was part of a deal that got me DOA2 for free. God I love the blessing of Buy 2 get 1 free.

I just called my local gamecrazy and they said its 3 for 10 on all games priced at 4.99 or less.

Not as good a deal, but i might still drop by and check it out. Wonder why your gamecrazy had such a better promotion going.

Most GameGrazy stores are attached to Hollywood Video stores. There are standalone game stores as well though.

Does this sale include GB and GBC this time around? I think that's all that was left here at the last sale except a handful of non-sports SNES games...

I e-mailed the online customer service last time and complained about how the younger guys working in these stores horded all the good games for their friend or themselves to buy...the district manager left a message on my answering machine 'wanting to talk to me'...I did not feel a need to call him back though...no hard evidence...

Big deal. As far as I'm concerned that kind of thing is the least anyone who puts up working a retail job deserves. I worked at a record store for many years and the privilege of getting first dibs on all the used product was barely enough to compensate for having to deal with consumer-conceit of the customers and my megalomania of my boss.

Thanks for the heads up

However, for me at least, all my nearby GC's suck now. Their SNES selection (not to mention down below) have severely taken a hit in the quality department. I think I raped them of most, heh heh. When I started in February of this year hitting my local GC's they had a bevy!

Kirby SuperStar 9.99
etc.

These days you'd be lucky to find a non-sports title. I seriously bought about 20-25 SNES games from GC's.

d00ds, three stores in my area also are having it for 3 for 10, i found such games as House of teh dead II Jp complete dreamcast (i dont know why they had a JP game) i found complete soul calabur, grandia II, skies of Arcadia all complete

loose i found mega man 1-3, little nemo, tetris 2 for snes, and FF4 for GBA, smash pack sega gba, and gunstar heros gba..

I didnt think GBA games count to.. i only asked at one store.. i ran out of money now. :)
