No offense, but how long have you been living in your current location? Unless you're a recent transplant, you should probably already know what sales tax is (and hopefully be able to calculate it fairly accurately).

Yeah, sales tax varies depending on what state you live in, and even depending on the city.

My hometown has a lower sales tax than the rest of the state, for example.
