Hello Fellow Gamers
I recently saw a feature on MTV called I'M A GAMER/ TRUE LIFE and this segment featured such people as Billy Mr Pacman Mitchell and some other less known players Johnathan "fatality" and Graig ....The subject of this show was to convey what gamers like ourselves do in our everyday lives besides game playing . The segment with Billy I thought went well since I know him personally and have seen his talent in action, but these others like Johnathan"Fatality" and Andre "infinate" and Graig the golf champion these are some of the newer genra of gamers .... Mr Fatality bost's some 100k in winnings and so do other gamers on this show. They travel around the country in hopes of winning these contests. When MTV came in contact with me months ago ...some where in the shuffle of the show they must have forgotten who I am and what other older gamers beside myself are about. I think if MTV wants to know what REAL GAMING is about they should come to CGE and see REAL players /collectors in action. Not spending time on players who have NO names or should I say stage names like "Longshot, Fatality, Infinate sitting around their houses and playing video games..HELL they can do that at anyones house these days. Maybe these players are good in their own right although ive never heard of most of the players that were featured . Some can say the same of me and who am I.... but the point im trying to make is MTV should have done more research on the gaming world and the long list of truley gifted players that are out there . I hope this show continues to feature other gamers and possiably MTV will attend some of the upcoming event shows that are out there other then following a Dude that is playing video Golf for a championship and watching his girlfriend get drunk on this show. This has been my opinion and view point only !
