Here's the story. Today I was helping to clean out a house of a friend's where his father had lived until recently when he passed away.

The house is quite huge, and has a barn which was an antique store; till he closed the doors back in 1993. Everything is still in there on shelves and cases with price tags... very cool!

Anyways, the guy hoarded EVERYTHING. I mean, I guess most people of his age (80's) seem to do that, but still... there were 3 wet/dry vacs in the house! 3 sewing machines! 2 garden tractors! haha

So I was sorting through some stuff, and came across what this post is all about. Few reasons why I think this find is so great!

1. Who would keep something like this and never use it?
2. It is in such good shape!
3. Disposable NES items seem non-existent now-a-days!
4. It's nearly full, only a few (if any) cups missing. I haven't counted them yet.
5. Lastly... anyone can collect games. It's the random stuff that I like!

So I give you my coolest NES find to date... my 1990 Dixie cups featuring NES characters!!

Also, to set this apart from the Dec finds thread, I'd like to also open up a discussion about if anyone else has or remembers 'disposeable' NES items!

LOL I remember those cups! In fact, they're probably in one of my old home videos. Wow what a trip

Are you going to send in for that sweepstakes?
I love finding random Nintendo merchandise like that, weirdest thing I have is a Mario cake pan.

I think unopened nintendo cereal is probably the hardest to find, cuz really unless you collected cereal back in the 80s or something its very rare that you would still have an unopened box today, nice find though :)

Wow, I had totally forgotten about these cups until just moments ago. One time I went shopping with my Grandpa, and he asked me to go get the cups for our house.

Yea, I showed my mom that time. No lame seashells that month.

Needless to say it was the last time she sent me and Grandpa to get groceries.

Thanks for reminding me!
