I just started seeing this girl a few months ago and she said she isn't really into videogames. But since she sees that I am so into them, she is attempting to get into playing them a bit here and there so it'll be one other thing we can both enjoy.
I know there are plenty of people here that have been in this same situation as I am. I showed her the Kingdom Hearts games and she seems to be interested in them, but does anybody know of some games that her and I could play 2 player without her getting fustrated with the controls (or me kicking her ass without her knowing I'm leting her win). She seemed to have a hard time controlling a game like kingdom hearts because she really isn't used to playing games, especially 3d ones. I'm mainly speaking of PS2 games because thats what she has (but only really uses for DVDs.) Thanks alot for any help (and sorry if there is already mad posts on this topic, maybe somebody can direct me to the old thread).

Dragon quest 8 since its a pretty simple rpg , soul calibur 3 and tekken 5 , to get started ,fighting games are good for beginners , most are easy to win ,when you start out . DDr is fun for gamers and non gamers if you got the dance mat.

My wife and I play Kareoke Revolution quite a bit. My wife seems more interested in the music games like DDR, Guitar Hero, Kareoke, ect. If we are not playing Kareoke Revolution, the only other game she will play is Super Mario Bros. on NES.

adventures of cookie and cream on ps2, seriously look into that game. Both people share the same controller and it is perfect for a couple. I know you said ps2 games but I just cant help but reccomend the Wii....

Tetris, Luminous, Wii Sports, Top Spin, Bust a Move, Bubble Bobble, etc. Anything that has a minimum number of controls. I was in the same boat with my girlfriend when we started dating. Now, she owns a PSP and has taken one of my DS and a ton of games. I've gotten her to play Guitar Hero as well, but it was a bit frustrating and we dropped it pretty quick. Even Burnout got some play as it was designed around driving somewhat poorly and wasn't a racing sim.

ditto
also a suggestion, maybe some puzzle games such as Tetris Worlds, or Bust a Move. For fighting on Sony console I might suggest Poy Poy as well.
as it was mentioned....Wii (Wii sports is great for everyone!)
