View Full Version : Is the Nintendo WII region free?

Hey goes i'm ready for my Wii, here in the UK it's lanuched on thursday night (8th) at the minute my girfriend is in florida with work, i'v read all over the place conflicting stories saying it IS and it ISN'T region free??
So while my little lady is in the US of A, and if it is region free, i could get me some cheap Wii games! :D
Any quick replies would be great!!

From what I have understood. Wii is not region free.

H AHA.. i wish it was. I heard the DS is region free? They shouldnt have regions anymore, except for Korea since they have da nukes!

Unfortunatly its not regionfree. Maybe someone will make a freeloader like they did for GC =)
