View Full Version : what playstation game is my girlfriend talking about?

for christmas my girlfriend wants me to get her a certain game for the playstation that she doesn't remember the name of. the description she gives me is that you play as a wierd spider or somthing and there are wierd colorful blotches or somthing on the walls. i have no idea what game she is talking about. can anyone tell me what game this is? thank you.
Miss Spider's Tea Party.
That's all I got from a fast google search, nothing else related really, except ps2 "party game".

There's a PS1 game called Spider - The Videogame. I don't know if it has colored splotches but you may want to at least check it out.

Thats what I was going to say this morning but I didn't have the time actually pull anything up for it to show you.
I can't think of any other games that have a spider as the main character other than the above mentioned (and Spiderman, but that would be a obvious one).

Didn't you play as a spider like robot in Ghost in the Shell. I only played the demo.

N2O: Nitrous Oxide is more than likely what she's talking about. You didn't play as a spider per se, but your ship would "crawl" around psychadelic "splotchy" walls and you would shoot at enemy bugs that would be coming toward you from afar Tempest style. I can only imagine this would be it, because the other 2 games mentioned aren't very good, and most girls I've met that have played this game have loved it. It had a great soundtrack (Chemical Brothers), excellent gameplay and a very memorable look. It shouldn't be too expensive once you hunt it down, I bought a copy not too long ago for like $3.
