Ok...was at Value Village today and got a cart called "Cannonball Blitz" made by Sierra On-line. It has extensive label wear, but I could only find two DP guide listings for it..one in TI-99 and one in Vic-20. My question is..which is this?

There are the front and back of the cart. There are no system identification markings on it anywhere. All the VIC 20 carts I've ever seen are white not black, and slightly thinner too. But the Cannonball Blitz for TI-99 is a Rumor Mill game and I'd piss myself if I found a game that rare, even in this condition. I suspect it's the Vic-20 version because I also saw another cart there (didn't buy it tho)...same type...but in better shape, called Jawbreaker II. It was also black, and made by Sierra On-line, whereas the TI-99 Jawbreaker II was made by TI instead. I've never seen a TI-99 cart so I just don't know though.

Can anyone help me out here? By the way, this cart IS for trade if anyone wants it cause at the very least, it's an R7 in the DP guide for the Vic-20 version and probably higher if it's the TI-99 one. I don't collect for either system but it was so odd I had to buy it.

Judging by the scale relative to the keyboard, it looks like the Vic-20 cart.

Definitely VIC-20.

Cool...thanks guys! Now the real question...was it worth picking up for $2 and does anyone want to swap for it? :)

Vic20... and definitely worth more than $2. Already have it though so no trade for me...

Once you have seen a Vic-20 cart you can't confuse a Vic-20 cart with any other cart that I know of.

Its long as hell.

I sometimes get c-64 and Atari 8 bit confused.

BTW Anybody heard of a game

Strangest cart I've ever seen for 8bit. The paper label wraps from the front to the back. Its a black paper label with neon orange writting. It looks like a flimsy black plastic case and they slapped a label on it and poured a plastic blask resin. If you are following me so far the entire chip minus the contacts is completely sealed in a black melted plastic.

Its for the left slot.

It is the Vic 20 Cannonball Blitz. I own one. It is a 7 in rarity I believe. A semi-rare cart. Sort of along the lines of Donkey Kong.

Can't say I have, sounds like a off brand one off release (the 8-bit has a ton of those). If you want to trade or sell it let me know.

"i can take pics but don't have a way to hose them."

That's all right... it's not good for the cartridges anyway. All that water makes 'em rust.
