Wii and New 2D games.

Whats the chances of Nintendo making new 2d games for the Wii. Seeing that they can't go head to head with the ps3/Xb360 in 3d game. I would Love it if they made new versions of Castlevania, Zelda, anything in 2d. Man, that would be kick a**

It's not new, but we get all 5 versions of Metal Slug on the 12th for $39.99.

This will be great, and Wii is still cabaple of great 3d games I mean Zelda is great and a few others look really good and it has only been out a few weeks!

Chrome, that's what got me thinking of this. That could be a nice nitch for Nintendo. There are still tons of people, and all kinds of younger people, that love classic gaming 2D. Dammit :) we want 2D games.

Super Paper Mario is kind of 2D and it looks awesome. It'll probabaly be the first game I get when I get a Wii.

As for more new 2D games, I don't know. I really think nintendo is gonna try stuff with the motion sensor more so than going back to classic 2D stuff. Really Nintendo seems to be more geared to release 2D stuff on the DS.

If you look online a lot of source claim all of these will be released for the Cube. If you check release lists of magazines though at least Super Paper Mario is listed as Wii title. Probably going to be released on both or (likely) only on Wii. No idea about Kirby and Donkey though.

It would be really nice to see Super paper mario come out on cube, as im getting to be quite a cube collector, and dont want to buy a wii for a while yet. Although i wont believe its coming out untill i see it on the shelves (or virtual shelves of an online store)
