Ok...as you may know, I managed to obtain a set of SMS 3D glasses and interface card today. Then, I went out and got Missile Command 3D to test them out. One arm is broken on em, so I duct taped it and played. They slip a little but they work.

Anyway, I popped em in and looked at the game without the glasses....uber-flicker as it's supposed to be. But then, when I tried to play with the glasses, while the flicker stopped, the images from the game didn't entirely come together. It's like they were trying to become 3D and then stopped or something. Does this mean my glasses don't work? I was seeing double of most of the stuff onscreen...it was really weird. Maybe it's just half assed 3D or maybe the glasses need help. Can anyone answer that question? Missile Command 3D would be cool if I could see it right!

Thanks!

BE sure the card adapter is firmly plugged into the card slot on the sms and the contacts are clean (clean them with alcohol), and be sure the plug going from the glasses to the card adapter is firmly inserted. Sometimes you can insert it half way and it wont work right. All I can say it that you should definitely see very very good 3-d. The glasses are some of the best ever made for a console.

Ok...I'll clean everything thoroughly and fiddle with it a bit..they must not be working right. Could be that they're broken but other than the arm they look SOOOO nice.....

Yay! Thanks Zektor! They work like a charm now! The contacts on the card LOOKED clean as all hell but they were REALLY dirty...2 whole Q-tips came away black! I popped it back in and they work great and WOW! :) Soooo awesome! God these are cool! I can't wait to find out of my second pair works now....then I can pass on a pair to someone else for some serious fun! :)

I'll have to try this. I have 2 spare interface cards and a set of glasses nib that didn't seem to work in any combination. I didn't think to clean. Thanks- this give me hope that I didn't have the worst 3D luck in the world.
