What's with the connection problems in Call Of Duty 3 (360)???

This is driving me crazy. The same day I solve my connection problem with Uno, another one starts with Call Of Duty 3. Can't connect to any ranked games and can barely connect to any unranked games (usually get 'No Session Available' when I join a match). This is my first time playing the game too, so it's not like it worked earlier and now it stopped working all of a sudden.

Did a search online and saw that lots of people are having the same problem. Wondering if anyone here managed to fix it though. I swear I tried everything and I still can't connect. I opened up ports 88 & 3074 on my router, tested Live connections and everything is good (NAT is open like it should be). Also enabled DMZ on my router with the 360's IP address too.

So far, COD3 is the only game I'm having problems on Live with. Gears of War multiplayer works fine and so does all the Live arcade games I've played. Anyone know what the hell is going on?

It needs a patch and one is coming. I tried getting into any game before I wrote a review and couldn't.

Of course, the day after I write the damn thing I get into three of them. Typical. But yeah, it's not you. The update is overdue by this point. I'm really getting tired of these patches. I know this stuff is far more complex than it used to be, but almost every game I bring home these days needs an update before I play.

Yeah, I was reading up on this after I posted and saw a fix is supposed to come out soon. Considering the amount of complaints I'm seeing though, I'm amazed that CoD3 was actually released so broken like this. Only being able to connect to about 1 in every 10 unranked and zero ranked matches is ridiculous.

I ended up trading it for a Collector's Edition of Oblivion. Story mode was fun but the meat of this game is the Live multiplayer. Once they release the multiplayer patch, I may consider picking it up again.

so far, I have had no such issues with COD3, but I have heard of alot of cases like this, I know a patch is comming, I just wish they would put a rush on it. oh well. back to GoW and RS:VEGAS... woot!

I"m getting pretty pissed with this game. I haven't had the connection issues because so far I'm only playing single player. However, I keep getting stuck in places. My guy cannot move, I can't jump, so I'm forced to restart the last checkpoint which is annoying as hell.

BTW, I can't play this game on Live either. It won't connect to a game.

I'm having a very similar problem in Gears of War. I connect for one second, then I get booted. I'm maybe connecting to 1/10 games. Anyone else have this on GOW?

That's bullshit. I'm glad I traded my copy off then. Really just bought it for the online play anyway.

Was planning on getting it again after they released the multiplayer patch but if people are STILL having probs connecting, then screw it. I'll just play R6 Vegas instead.
