wii s-video cable question

Who else got the react s-video cables?

Is it just my wires, or is anyone else getting staticy sound at certain tones? Specifically I'm thinking the sound level that plays when you get into the menu or when you push the home button in a game.

If it's just my wires I'll just take them back and get a different set, but if it's a problem with the entire brand I'll be less than thrilled.

I got 'em, but I haven't played my Wii much since I did (finished Zelda, burned out on Wii Sports). I'm not home right now, but when I get home, I'll check for you.

Nah, I determined it was my switchbox. It worked fine when hooked directly into the tv, just not through that.
