Angry Kirby???

I just saw this posted in vbender by the great and amazing JJ_Nova a short while ago and it got me thinking. Now why would Nintendo do this with their Kirby cover art? Click and discuss!

Whoa, I never noticed that about Kirby before. That's quite a pattern. I learn so much from YTMND.

I don't really think it's that big of a deal. I mean, it's just cover art, but it's a neat bit of trivia. I think the title of the YTMND nails it. They're just trying to make Kirby look hardcore and badassed, so his games don't look kiddy.
