I recently picked up a TG-16 and SMS. I am looking to start collecting games for both. I am curious to hear what people think are the best games for both. SMS games can include pal too. And if you are looking to sell some games in bulk let me know. Thanks, Scott

Adding European (and Brazilian) releases certainly makes the Master System's library a lot bigger, but it adds very few high qaulity games, in my opinion. We got most of the very best SMS games here in the U.S., Europe just got a lot of trash and licensed stuff that we didn't. There were a few good Game Gear ports released only in Europe or Brazil, though, such as Sonic Chaos. It's also often just easier to find the European release of a particular game than the domestic version.
I don't know the TurboGrafx library wellenough to recommend much, but I will say that many of the same games appeared on both systems, such as the Wonder Boy games (renamed for the Turbo, but the same games), Ys and some of the shooters, so you may want to look at both versions before deciding which one to get. Same goes for the Genesis, if you have one, a lot of later SMS games were downports of Genesis releases, so you may simply want to get the Genesis version.

Alex Kidd in Shinobi World (one of my favorites) is rare in the US, but pretty common in Europe (as I recall). There's a example where importing will serve your interests well.
Tron 2.0

I see most have recomended most of the best ones for the TG16.
Still i can think of one that... hasn't been mention yet Dragon Curse .

As far as I'm concerned, there are plenty of fine SMS games that did not make it to the US, including:
Asterix (SMS exclusive)
Asterix and the Secret Mission
Buggy Run (SMS exclusive, rare)
Sagaia
Renegade (ported by Natsume, best version anywhere)
Assault City (SMS exclusive, make sure it's the Light Phaser version)
Line of Fire
Power Strike II (SMS exclusive, rare)
Master of Darkness
Ninja Gaiden (SMS exclusive)
Air Rescue
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Bonanza Bros.
Dragon Crystal
Jurassic Park
Land of Illusion
The Lucky Dime Caper
Deep Duck Trouble
Tecmo World Cup '93 (if you like old arcade-y soccer games)
Wimbledon II (if you like old arcade-y tennis games, rare)
Also:
Sonic the Hedgehog (I personally don't care for any of the 8-bit Sonics after the first one)
Rambo/Secret Commando
Most Light Phaser games
Raccoon Lad
