I've recently been contemplating getting a Xbox. One of the reasons I'm leaning towards the Box is that I'm 6ft 8in and have giant man-hands, so I love the feel of the big controller. The problem is now all of the Xbox + free game bundles I see advertised come with the small controller. Does anyone know if I can pick one of these bundles up with a big 'un?

sometimes a store, like Gamestop, might have some of th old systems in the back with the big controller. What was supposed to be done at the store level was to take those original core systems and pack them with extra combo jet set/sega gt discs that the corporate office sent out to each store.
This way, the store would be able to sell off the old system as a bundle, only difference being the size of the controller.
If you're in New Jersey, I have several of these "old" bundle systems left.

All the bundles I have seen have had just the small controllers. I don't like the small controllers either, when I bought my bundle, I got an original controller as well, and they looked at me like I was nuts!!! Sadly, it is near impossible to play Tony Hawk 2X with the original one (slanted buttons make pulling tricks just too hard...) so I've adapted to the S controller on a few games.

Let's you use Saturn, DC, and PS2 controllers with your xbox. I got one since the controller S completely sucked for CvS2 online. So if any of those systems controllers work well for you, get one of those.

Thanks for the tip butta...the XBox controller d-pad isn't responsive enough for THPS games...now I can use my trusty ol' PS2 one.
You rock :rocker:

No.Besides, the smaller ones are way better. But if you like the biig controllers,i think there are still xbox's that sell the big controllers with them.

but be careful when purchasing an older xbox, because you might have problems with the system later on, the first generation of xbox systems had problems like skipping and reading games to name a few
