There are inline adapters for both that convert to USB . . . I wonder if you got a USB adapter with one male and one female ports would it convert from one to another . . .

Why would someone ever make one? Only to prove it could be done, I suppose. Then they'd rush to Ebay to list it or try to make a name for themselves on the internet by showing it in threads.
