Simple: I am expecting a package from Japan; a game I won on Ebay. The guy is sending it via EMS. Does EMS shipping provide a tracking number?

I ship from the US to Japan via EMS and tracking has always been included with the service, so I'm guessing it should be the same with shipping from Japan to the US.

Ok, looks like the seller has told people in the past that tracking wasn't included on EMS shipping. I just want to ensure that if I'm paying that much for EMS shipping that it actually gets shipped that way.

EMS always has tracking. The numbers are printed on the label. It's a pretty reliable service so the seller probably doesn't send the tracking numbers unless there's a problem.

You'll see the EMS letters on the label.
