i figured i would check now(3am)to see if they put the trial up yet.so far it is super easy to move around and i like that pressing the + and - makes the page shrink and grow.

Just tried it out. It works rather well for what it is.

Some features that seem to be undocumented:

Press 1 to jump to Favorites.
Press 2 to switch to Small Screen Rendering mode (like what you see using Opera Mini, or Opera Mobile in "Single Column" mode).

greetings - posting this from my Wii

Me too. It's faster than I thought it would be.

Woke up this morning to a throbbing blue light from my Wii :) Tried downloading the Browser and twice it told me to check my internet connection. On my third try, it finally went through and its actually not half bad. Tried some youtube videos and they worked relatively well and the whole setup is very eays to navigate.

Also posting from my Wii. They auto complete is nice, but I would still prefer a wireless keyboard.

I had to check this out before I left for work this morning...downloading didn't take as long as I thought and the browser does work pretty well! Faster than I expected too. My only wish is for keyboard support.

I like waking up to the Wii lit up blue. :)

Ya, I downloaded it before I left for work this morning too. Its definetly faster than I thought it would be. It doesn't appear to support mpeg of any format. But watching You Tube videos is a great idea. You have any idea how much time you can blow doing that? And on my 50" TV, its perfect.

Just wanted to be on the bandwagon and post from my Wii also. One handed browsing makes some of my favorite sites easier to enjoy :)

I just wish I could use a USB keyboard as well, or my GCNag keyboard (btw also posting from my Wii).

I can't make out a damn thing on my TV.

This is worse than the problem people were having, reading the text in Dead Rising.

I have a 50" HD Sony and am running the wii in 480p and the text is just what I would call "acceptable." Ironically, the Wii seems to have the best web related piece of software out of the 3 systems but is lacking the HD capabilities to truly enjoy it.

I'm not saying it doesn't work. Its just kinda disappointing to see the low rez pictures when they could look amazing. Oh well, still cooll.

I only have a 27 inch standard composite cable television, and I don't have a problem reading text after hitting the Zoom button.

Although quoted text here on DP is impossible read. THe white on red blurs incredibly in quoted text.

I'm typing this on my Wii right now. The graphic quality is good when zoomed in all the way, and I like watching Youtube videos fullscreen on my TV. The only fault is that it took me ten minutes to type this with the onscreen keyboard.

I thought I might as well post from my dreamcast since my Wii isn't set up yet. (I'm actually not, even though I could if I wanted)

YouTube worked fine for me earlier, and now it doesn't. It says I need to update my Flash player, which obviously can't be done on the Wii.

Even weirder, I have no problems with Flash anywhere else. The Wiicade site works fine, as do all flash-based ads. I was watching videos all morning, and not nothing. Anyone else have this issue?

Up to Flash 7 works with the Wii.

ry http://linerider.com <-- That game is fun, but doesn't work on the wii. Neither does the game flOw, which is the reason I wanted my Wii online.

This is great. Playing with my Wii on the internet and I don't even have a camera. Seriously this is better than expected, predictive text is a nice addition. Still need a keyboard though.

Question though, how much will the browser cost when the trial is over?

I believe it will be 500 points, but the final version will be free for a limited time, or so I have read

Somewhere in the bowels of this MB, are a few posts made by me using a dial-up DC; couldn't tell you which ones though.

/Now someone's gonna trump me and mentioned they used LYNX. Go ahead. Show yourself.

I am on a Wii also. :) It is very hard to read anything on a hdtv with no component cables though!

Pretty sweet browser, posting from the wii right now. I may actually buy this if it is only five bucks.

I'm also impressed so far. The only thing that bugs me about it is the B-button scrolling does not work on some sites (like digitpress.com :) )

It seems that it doesn't work on sites with frames. I'm sure it will be fixed before release.
