Hello. I am new to building mame machines so I went with one pre built. I have got everything configured except for one of my favorite games, Frontline. I just cannot get the game to map right. I have a four joystick config with 8-way option on each stick. I have a mouse and spinner as well as 6 buttons per player. Does anyone have ideas on mapping to my existing setup or an add on controller that will work???? Thank you and Happy Holidays!:help:

Front line, the old Taito game? Hmm, I think you set a left joystick to aim on that one, and a right-hand joystick to movement (I just remember that it's backwards from most dual joystick games). I recall that MAME's defaults for some games like this are retarded and won't work with most joysticks, so you'll need to first clear out (Delete key) all the movement/aim stick commands, and then fill them in by hand.
Interesting game, but I like the next year's followup The Tin Star much better.
