Anyone else finding 3d spatial movement to be a bit of a bitch? I don't just swinging the remote, i mean like with things that require you move the controller towards the screen to zoom in, in Red Steel or to put the defib paddles on in Trauma Centre. Worse still has anyone had an easy time with Whack-a-mole on Super Monkey Ball?

I'm amazed with how good the pointing system and accelerometer functions work, but so far the 3D spatial movement is just painful

Yeah, Call of Duty uses it too and it barely works. I really had to over-exaggerate to get it to work.

I had issues with quite a few of the Money Ball mini-games too. I couldn't get bowling to work at all.

Same here, but i think that's partially due to the piss poor explanation the game offers.

Yea sometimes.
The most trouble I have is in driving games (Excite Truck and Downhill Jam) sometimes while turning, making a sharp turn the remote becomes unresponsive.
This could also be due to the defective Wii I own, but that is besides the point.

I haven't had any problems with the in-out motions in Trauma Center (defibrilators & part of the bomb puzzle)

I noticed the problem with Monkey ball but all the others seem to be ok. Granted I dont own Red Steel as I played a copy of it and saw how terrible is truely is so I can't say if I have any problems with that.

Ok just played Monkeyball, and anything with in-out motions (Trombone, whack-a-mole) just doesn't work like it's supposed to. It RECOGNIZES the in-out motions, but it's impossible to use it for minute controls... trying to move just ONE "spot" consistently in Trombone was impossible for all 4 of us that tried it.

Honestly, all the in-out motions could be replaced with aiming the wiimote. Compare the whack-a-mole games in Monkey Ball and Rayman- Rayman's works WAY better.

I actually really enjoyed Red Steel, and played it all the way through. But the zooming was very awkward, and somewhat broken. It's just an uncomfortable motion, and it was tough to gauge the speed at which I should move it forward. It could have definitely been implemented better, though the motion itself wasn't a very good choice. The act of moving the wiimote towards the screen screwed up what you were trying to aim at. But activating "focus mode" by quickly thrusting the remote towards the screen seemed to work fine.

When I tried Call of Duty I had some problems with a melee attack, but so far I haven't had any problems with Elebits.
