will the sd memory cards for the wii allow you to save pictures onto it from a digital camera?

I think I understaand what you're asking, but yes, if you take pictures to an SD card you can view them on your Wii.

Yes, any SD memory card that works in the Wii will work in any product that uses the same card. DO NOT buy the Nintendo "memory cards." They're completely overpriced. I got a 1GB stick by Polaroid for $20. I believe Nintendo charges $70.

GAMESTOP charges 50 dollars for them, and Gamestop is overpriced on everything. Nintendo just has the "Seal of Quality" on there. That way they get their check, and the card manufacturer gets theirs. If you shop around, you can find sales constntly. We picked up a 2 Gig SD (SanDisk Brand) from Office Max for 25 bucks. It's worth it to look around.
And yes, any SD card up to (but not exceeding) 2 Gigs will work. I assume a firmware update in the future will fix that, but Nitnendo might be limiting the size for a reason.
