My Wiimote is making a crackly noise whenever I'm playing any of the minigames. And when I got to the game where you have to take the pig back to his mom, and the remote is supposed to oink when you get close to a bunny. It just makes a louder crackly noise.

My Wiimote works fine on all my other games... Not Rayman.

This happening to anyone else, or did I probably get a defective copy?

From Nintendo:

If the batteries are changed too quickly, occasionally you might get a crackling noise or no sound from the Wii Remote's speaker. Take out the batteries, wait for one (1) minute, then re-insert.

I had the exact same problem I tried 'Bunnies don't like Pigs part 2' myself. I skipped the level, and went back and re-beat it once I had passed the day and it played like there was no problem at all. I don't know why it did it to mine, I just figured that there was some funky connection issue or something with the wiimote not getting the signal right.

Cirrus - I tried that trick. It still doesn't work.

the Wiimote noises work fine on all my other games (Zelda, Wii Sports, Elebits)

It's just Rayman.

I also just realized instead of having the 'options' selection from the main menu, It has audio options. That's it.. According to the manual, it's supposed to have a 'video' and 'command' selection under the options menu, as well. Mine doesn't seem to have this feature.

I had the same problem... but only with the 2nd "Bunnies Don't Like Pigs". The first one worked fine, the other one crackled... I could sort of recognize it as squeals, but it wasn't as clear as #1
