What are game mysteries that have no answer and are driving you crazy.

The one that I cant stand is the hidden book at the bottom of the ocean in MarioSunshine. It's driving me crazy and insane.

What is yours? What mystery is driving you crazy?

1. MarioSunShine Mystery Book
2. Banjo and the mystery hookup
3. Stider and the dancing pandas

Welll, there's always the mysterious dancing panda in Strider on the Genesis. I guess they just had a little extra unused data.

Here's some info on how to trigger the panda in strider:
The Panda : In the missile silo, after you destroyed the Main
Cannon, go down, then head left instead of right. You will meet some missile
shells stored on different ledges. Slash all of them. The leftmost will contain
a Panda, which will give you some extra score.

This is level 3, I believe. It's when you jump inside of the giant airship.

Things I've wondered about for a while now:

The haunted confessional in Castlevania Symphony of the Night
That first empty room in Kid Icarus
How to clear the second stage of Ghostbusters II for Atari 2600

Feel free to answer any of these three. :-)

in one of the multi-player levels of perfect dark, you can crawl in a vent type area, and in one spot you look up and there's a question mark on the ceiling with a box of ammo on top of it.
also there's a piece of cheese hidden in every level of that game.
i had never heard about the book in the ocean on sms, sounds interesting though.

Speaking of Perfect Dark, you know how there's two levels of crouching? Well, when you're at the lowest crouch, try and crouch again (R + C-Down) and the screen will go black! Let go and it returns.

Can anyone shed some light on this seemingly pointless feature?

I know the answer behind the cheese in Perfect Dark. I read somewhere in a magazine quite a while ago that the makers of Perfect Dark had put a piece of cheese in each level that the player could pick up to unlock secrets in the game. They apparently never got that feature in the game, but they left the cheese in there anyway. :) I'll try to find that old magazine and get you the full article... but with the mess that is my room, that won't be anytime soon LOL .

How did Superman 64 get approved by Nintendo?

Amazing, the first magazine I looked in had the Perfect Dark cheese article in it. It basically states what I said. It's in the EGM August 2000 issue on page 155 if you want to look it up.

I believe myself as well as every other gamer on this board can answer the Superman question, its all about the money, money makes the world go round hence the makers of that poor excuse for a N64 game did make some initial profit off of it but not much, Publisher: the game needs to get released NOW! Developer: but it really Sucks Publisher: I don't care, release it on those unsuspecting foolish parents mwhahahahhahahaha

That first empty room in Kid Icarus

Ok I can answer this one.

That room is really a God room (you know, the rooms where God tests you and you get a power up). However at the beginning of the game you obviously don't have a enough points to trigger it so its empty, but if you come back to it once you beat the game (and you start back on level 1) you will have enough points to trigger God.

You know, I think I might have read that somewhere once. That game is hard enough as it is; I can't imagine trying to loop through it twice. :-)

The Super Smash Borther Melee tropies.

The one eye behind daisies hair.

And the "2LA84ME" or whatever it is on the bottom of one of the trophies (can't remember which one it was).

The last one kind of creeps me out.

OH, Wolfienstien 3D. The very first one, the shareware one. If you had the full versaion and kept using level skip, you eventually found a level where the walls were really close, and there where pac-man ghosts. All four ghost were in it, and you couldn't kill them. Has anyone else been to that level. What is the deal?

On that note; What's up with that one level in doom where you shoot commander keen?
