I was out at my local Target and they already had the Intergalactic Wrestling game and cards on clearance. The game is $7.48 and the cards are $3.98. I was tempted to grab one since they have been disappearing, but figured to wait and see if the went lower.

Wait, the Hyperscan system with the Marvel X-Men game included or just the games?

All I noticed on clearance was the Intergalactic Wrestling game and update cards. They were in a special area. The system, other games, and other pdate cards were still regular price. Go figure.

I saw it at Target for 50 bucks in my area. The extra games and cards were on clearance.

Does anyone know how you obtained the Ultimate Lady Deathstrike Character card originally? Hyperscan's website is the only place that even mentions it, I've seen them on Ebay in the past. Their website says that it was a promo.

Also, when you purchase the game disc for X-men does it come with a stock set of cards, kind of like a starter pack? What cards does it come with?

Also, anybody want to trade for some I don't have? Just send me the list of ones that you want to trade and the ones that your looking for and we'll see if we can work things out.

.

Yeah. It comes with 6 cards, just enough to play the thing and that's it. I know Wolverine and some special move cards are included. I can dig through mine to find out which was the original set if need be.

This whole console was a half-assed idea. They seriously wanted kids to pay $10+ per pack to get the entire game which is sitting on the disc they already bought, with no guarantee they wouldn't be getting doubles. Absurd. Not only that, the games are absolute crap.

This system and packs have been on clearance at TRU for a long while.

Rick Weis and myself are Hyperscan collectors. The Promo Card that was mentioned actually came from the San Diego Comic Con. There are two Promo cards, one for Ben 10. I know that Rick is trying to "Collect them all". What a strange system indeed.

I'm only interested in the X-Men series for now. I haven't seen the Marvel Heroes sets anywhere but I wouldn't mind collecting those. I don't have the X-Men Game Disc yet, just the cards. I need 13 cards, so it is important that I know what came stock with the system. It would make sense that Wolverine is part of it as I have not seen the regular version of the card in the 26 packs that I have bought. BTW, I cleaned out Walmart at 1.50 a piece and picked up 2 controllers for 3.50 each. I've got a lot double and would be happy to purchase or trade for the ones that I need. Also, if anyone wants to sell me a Ultimate Lady Deathstrike, I would be very interested.

50TBRD: The deck that comes with the Hyperscan system & Xmen game are the first six cards of the set: Wolverine, Lady Deathstrike, attack mods for Wolverine, Lady Deathstrike, and Iceman, then a danger room card.

The randomness of the cards are even more fucked up because there's supposedly different rarities within the packs.

This system plays worse than online flash games btw. The real value is the RFID reader/writer, waiting for someone to figure that out, hopefully through the USB port. The X-Men game disc has nearly all the data easily deciphered through a text editor, you could theoretically edit the files and burn a new disc so Wolverine's card might pull up Magneto with stupid high stats.

I already have Ben-10 and X-Men, but would trade for Intergalactic Wrestling, Marvel Heroes and booster packs/cards for all four games. Check the bottom of my website listed in my profile.

The system is still ~$17 locally, which is about $15 more than I'm really looking to spend on it...though Bratwurst's post makes me want to pick one up just in case someone does something really cool with it.

The first 6 cards are amoung the 13 that I need, so I guess that I just need the other 7 since I WILL be getting the game eventually, just looking for a deal on it. The homebrew factor is very interesting but I like X-Men so much that I wanted to get this system knowing that all the reviews said that it was no good.

BTW, there were 2 more controllers at 3.50 and a bunch of BEN 10 boosters for 1.50 still. I want to say that the BEN 10 game disc was there too but I didn't pay attention. I will pick them up for anyone who wants them but I'm not coming out of pocket to do it.

I need 020, 023, 024, 042, 045, 051, and 057.

I wouldn't count on it anytime soon. A few RFID enthusiast sites mentioned the system when it was first announced in an 'isn't that nifty' tone and haven't said anything since. Got my Hyperscan stuff for a song though, considering dedicated RFID readers can cost up to a hundred dollars alone, I couldn't resist.

The system actually distorts the television when it scans a card. How on earth did the FCC allow that one to slip by.

You know when you say stuff like this it makes me kinda want to shell out the $17 on it.

I found controllers for 2.50 and the BEN 10 and IWL game disc for 2.25! Even better then that, I found booster packs for X-Men and IWL for 1.00 each! There aren't anymore left now though. I bought them all.
