Hi everybody!
I am sure that most of you who are into the Atari scene are aware that there is a not-too-difficult mod to preform on an Atari Flashback 2.0 in order to rig it to accept and play 2600 carts.
I was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere that one could buy a pre-modded Flashback 2.0, or is there anyone here willing to preform the surgery for a fee?

Bump!
Don't feel bad, I have asked about somebody doing the work as well, but nobody ever takes it. I would do it, but my eyes aren't what they used to be. :(

I'm pretty sure I can do this mod. I've been meaning to try it, but I'm just so freaking busy all the time. I went to Target today, and they had Flashbacks for 19.99, and I was like "oh yeah!"
I have a magazine floationg around my house somewhere with a detailed write up of how to do it. (It is probably in the magazine rack by the toilet!) But yeah, it is a sweet mod, and I AM GOING TO DO IT. Some day.
seriously
i will

And thusly stonic explains why OSG does not offer the service. You would get better value for your $$$ out of AV modding a real Atari, as opposed to hacking a hole in a FB2.

whats an average price for av moding an atari (and does it matter if its a 6switch 4switch or heavy6er or even jr pricewise?) and even better is there a decent source to goto to get an av mod for the 2600 that somonee could direct me to? for some reason I just can't get my 2600 and a few other classics systems to work on lv's tv frequenceies with the old switch boxes and I'd like to play the games i have kicking around once again.
