A local one, LITERALLY 2-minute drive from my house. It's a rarity that they get games in at all, let alone anything like that.

I was spazzing out in the thrift store and the old ladies that were working there were telling me to calm down.

I've gotten other decent deals from them (Super Mario Kart for $4), but obviously all those games came from one donator (probably someone cleaning out their kids' closet when they were off at college or something, I dunno.)

...and yes, I signed up here just to post this.

Picked up a pair of $14.88 games at Wal-Mart today...

WWE: Day of Reckoning
Kao the Kangaroo: Round 2

Both are GameCube titles. I'll have to check the Kao game quickly...it didn't have it's wrapping. I checked the disc and it seems to be scratch-free.

Since I posted the above, I went to another store and bought another pair of GameCube games...

Viewtiful Joe
X-Men: Legends

My GameCube library has now caught up to my Xbox library in size. Actually, I should have one more GC game which I can't count right now because I've misplaced it. Once I find it, it will be added to my official GC count.

Passed on my find of the day, local Antique Mall had a booth with 56 Sega Genesis Sports titles all boxed, Genesis 2 system in rough box w/2 off brand 6 button controllers, 2 wireless off brand controllers boxed. I just with the games were something other than common sports games. I would have done some haggling on the prices.

Also got in some SNES games Donkey Kong Country 2, Super Metroid, Legend of Gaia, Earthworm jim 2 and one N64 game clayfighter 63 1/3. All for $30 shipped. Not being to smart with my money but sometimes you just want something.

FINALLY! I found a DS Lite today! After I decided to take the step up from my SP NOBODY had the damn things! It was my day off today and after calling god knows how many places and getting the usual nope, no , had a few yesterday and sold out. etc. etc. I finally had a yes answer at Target! It was also the color I was wanting too! They kindly held it for me till I was able to get there. :D I picked that up along with the new Mario Bros.

Then, Metroid pinball and Castlevania only cost me $10 (after tax) for both (new) via a Best Buy Gift card that I hadn't used yet from Christmas. :) They didn't have FF III :(

not much around this area in the console game findings but I did find these games today at a thrift store for 3 dollars each......each game seems to be complete and well taken care of......I don't have a mac computer to check these but for some reason I could not leave them behind and they might not have any value but at least I could add them to my collection....they are Kings Quest V, Loom, Quest for Glory I, and Advanced Dungeons and Dragons

I usually have to travel to Orlando to get my games. By the way if there are any other Central Florida gamers around give me a shout it would be fun to go game hunting with some other Gamer/Collectors.

Two Gameboy Advances,Shrek,Metroid Fusion Games/game bag accessories for a GBA$10.00

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v21/Chris1/VectrexBuy-1.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v21/Chris1/Victoria12507004.jpg

First table: My dad runs into items he want, spread out all over tables and in boxes.
While looking for his stuff I come across the two Gameboy Advances,Shrek,Metroid Fusion Games/game bag accessories for a GBA
$10.00 for all the GBA stuff...

Dad spent $50.00 for the items he bought and wasn't happy about it later(impulse buy)He thought he was getting it all for $10.00 but I knew better.
We spent way to much time at this table though..
I hit the next table and saw and old man holding a stack of PS/DC games..There was a pile high of them on the ground.(he was hovering over them)
His wife saw a SNES with Games, priced at $30.00..She called her husband over and he said to her" let him look through the PS games first"(sorta a hold on damn it!!reply)
She walked away..He goes over to look at the SNES(10 steps away) and I go look at the pile of PS/DC games,I grab a few, look through them...Many of them I don't have on my racks, but I was more looking for something that I'd play(or felt is rare)..
.While I'm looking through the PS games I hear OH NO!!,he said it so loud that I looked right up at him and he looked at me...He was mad that I was now looking through those PS games...I grab three and go to the vendor/I was more interested in the SNES
..Price?..PS/DC games $5.00 each....The old guy runs right back over to the pile.
I ask the vendor(who knows me) how much for the NES and SNES over on the far table.now that the old couple are not on it..."Give me $30.00 for everything-including the three PS games"..Cool..I bought it all...
(Old guy comes up 12-15 PS games and the vendor charged him $5.00 Each..WOW!!
..With this shifting back and forth,I felt I spent to much time on the previous table...I could of missed it all.
I know who this old couple is too..I hear they are the ones that buy up all the video games, but usually pay high prices.

Third Table: NES and SNES with hook-ups,Mickey Mousecapade oddball computer controller..$35.00

Forth Table.
Cosmic 2000 Handheld game in box..$30.00 Passed(I own it)

Fifth Table:
Sears Telstar 2600/Telegames Video Arcade Atari 2600 Clone in MINT box.Complete...But nothing inside the box to hold it's contents.
With 15 or so Boxed, good condition ghames, some were sealed Sears and Atari 2600 games..
Star Wars,Coconuts,Sears black boxes,Maze Craze...A lot of games in that box that I didn't have.
$100.00 with no haggling....PASSED(it will be there all day/he's a hard ass)

I won't make anything on it...2600s even the Sears versions are a Waste for me..

Sega CD longated version,Gen and 32 X with no cords $35.00 PASSED
N64 Nice in N64 Bag $30.00 PASSED
Loose Genny II trashed $5.00 Passed.
Loose SNES common Games $5.00 Each..PASSED

Vectrex with Minestorm overlay was a tough choice..I have one already...I bought it more because I never come accross them at a flea market.(I may sell it)
I know the vendor..I usually hit him last as he holds stuff for me.
He didn't have anything for me.....(besides some old Quiz Wiz handhelds.
I don't think he realized the the Vectrex is what it is..He had it out like a TV.
I asked a price, does it work?.....and explained to him that it could be shot..
$50.00 untested.....Ahh..I almost passed,I stood there looking at other stuff for 10 minutes...I offered $40.00 and he finally went for it..
Tested it when I got home and it works,it's in really good condion..Nicer then mine.

The Vectrex vendor had three vintage GI Joe dolls($300.00 for the lot) and two Buck Rogers Vintage Metal Space Guns.(Buck Rogers XZ-31 Rocket Pistol, Daisy, 1934.....& Buck Rogers XZ-38 Disintegrator Pistol, Daisy, 1936..In a glass case on a table.
http://www.theweaponshop.com/raygun.html (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v21/Chris1/VectrexBuy-1.jpg)
His Price.."$700.00 but I'll take $500.00"..He "sorta"sold them to this Smart ass guy who pissed me off.(I didn't want them)
Just to bust that a hole buyers balls I offered the vendor $1000.00 for the two pistols(long story but some people can be real jerks at the flea market)
I left that place pretty pissed off for two reasons.

This Headless statue is going to haunt me.(before glued) Forget about me ever being a Good Samaritan again..
To get to the vendor who had the Vectrex you have to walk through lines of tables..The vendor to his left seemed to be using some of his space and had his tables set-up in an obscure way.
People are crossing in and out of his isle to get to the other vendor...His tables are light and getting bumped.
I walk through and step on what felt to be a golfball..
I look, and it's a small statue head,...nearby I see the Body..So I pick it up and put it on the table,I tell the vendor that I was picking it off the ground for him"I say someone broke this"..he was looking right at me too(I was being nice)
He starts flipping out on me that I gotta pay for it then started naming crazy high prices..I'm like No way!!..He had a guy come over from the far left demanding that I pay too..I felt So set-up...I didn't break it..It was on the ground,I explain, you have a ton of people walking through here....I'm not paying for nothing,I told them..Call Security then...
The one guy then knowing I'm not gonna fall for that crap then hands the statue to me(in two pieces and says keep it-throw it away..
No I'm keeping it as a rememberence/lesson to no longer be a Good Samaritan there.

Picked up a VirtualStation Interactive from shopgoodwill.com. It is a nice Famiclone. The pic doesn't match since I have 2 controllers, but no gun. Also no box. But not bad for what I paid. It is a lot nicer to play Famicom games on that the Power Joy 3 I had been using.

The Stranger and I went to some Tulsa flea markets today and found some pretty good stuff.

Flack....did you get that stuff at Great American Flea Market & Antique Mall on Admiral?

I was there yesterday morning and this vendor had a hugh booth filled with stuff. His sign said they opened at 10am and I waited until 11am but they never showed up.

I got a lot of it there. Where was the boot you were waiting on? I know it's kind of hard to describe. There's one in the middle that has both older and newer systems. That's where I got the controllers. Then there's a guy in the back/left area kind of, which is where I got the Vic-20 and games, the monitor, and the power supply. I got all the books at a couple of different book stores around town. We've made the mistake of going to that place on Friday before as well and it's pretty disappointing, most booths are closed. This weekend was also the monthly Flea Market at the Tulsa fairgrounds, plus there's another one on the east side of town (get off on 55th street off of 44 and follow the signs).

That's the one. I stood there just staring at all the stuff. Plus it was my birthday so I could justify doing a little binge buying.

BUT...THEY...WEREN'T...THERE!!! :frustrated:

Another vendor had stacks of games in there, booth 204 I think. All NES games were $5 regardless of title and everything else up to current gen were "On Sale" for $10 each. Yeah that was a deal. :bullshit:

That guy is "the Soup Nazi" of flea markets. If you offend him or anything he just won't sell to you. This time when I went I was very polite and deliberate in my actions. When I found the Commodore monitor I was like, "I want this," and then it took him 15 minutes to demonstrate to me how well it worked. First he hooked it up to an NES and showed off the color and then he hooked up the sound so I could hear that worked, then he degaused it ... it took forever. Then when I saw the Vic-20 he took everything out and hooked it all up and we had to test that too. I was afraid when I bought the PC games that he was going to want to install them and try those out too.

Nothing too crazy, and not too much game related but picked up some anime today.
Ninja Scroll
Art of Fighting
The Blade of Kamui

$7 for all 3 VHS movies, AoF of course being the only "based off a video game". I've just had a bug bite me in the ass the other week that has me purchasing older anime from different formats: VHS, DVD, LaserDisc and so forth. I'm not complaining though. :)

Along with that, I just got back from a CD/Game Exchange trip with SarKenobi, and I got these:

Glad to finally get this at a cheap price.

Today's finds were insane.

Boxes and manuals for:
Zelda III
Final Fantasy III
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest
Ys III: Wanderers From Ys

MST3K Volume 1 DVD set

And a bunch of other stuff for TWO BUCKS. My god, I just LOVE "All you can fit in a bag for $2!" Tuesdays at my favorite booth at the local flea market! ^_^ All boxes are in decent condition except for Zelda III, which is crushed. Seems like someone took out the games and threw the boxes away... if only I'd had been there a half hour earlier, I might've gotten the games. :(

I also picked up some PC games for the store.
