Looks like It. I have a sealed Metal Slug 2nd mission and CFC: SNK Version and they have the same bunched up shrinkwrap seal on the top.

Me, too. I have a couple of sealed games that look a bit like that... I think it's normal.

what I find most interesting is that you took the picture of you sealed ngpc box on the side of the road, in a forest.

most people are like, at their kitchen table or something. I like the artistic vision you bring to your queries!

Hard to say. I used to buy games from a Babbages in a nearby mall and they had all of there copies without shrinkwrap and then took it in the back and put the wrap on when you bought it, so they had a lot of funny looking seals. I asked him why they did it that way and he claimed thats how they arrived. I know other places got them in stock wrapped so I dony know if he was blowing smoke or if that chain was just wierd or what. I could see that with the last copy and they needed a display, but they were literally all out of wrap. I was in pretty good with that manager and her took me in the back and showed me.

Who knows.

I've been through at least 4 or 5, maybe more, sealed Neo Geo Pocket Color games, and while I never bought any at a brick and mortar store back when they were new, the ones I got came from different sources and they all looked like that. I wouldn't worry about it.

Hard to say.

Who knows.

It appears it's NOT so *hard to say* and MANY peple seem to *know* what they are talking about.

Thanks for the awesome post, though.

If you got me clearer pictures of a couple of the sides and the front and back, I could probably tell you with certainty.

One thing to look for is tiny holes in a clean pattern on the front and or back of the shrinkwrap, as that is what I usually use to tell if it is legit or not.

I've got a handful of NGPC games that are still sealed, including Crush Roller and my Crush Roller seal looks like that. So i'd say yes.
