Best sim sports game of the last 5 years currently on sale

I personally feel that NBA 2K7 for the Xbox 360 is the best simulation sports game of about the last 5 or 6 years. Maybe even longer than that. I know there aren't too many "sporto's" that populate these boards, but in case anybody would like to play one of the best sports games of the last 5 or 6 years, I thought I would bring it to your attention.

Fry's Electronics has NBA 2K7 for $29.99, but if you take the Fry's advertisment in your local Newspaper to Circuit City, you will actually get the game for $26.99. Not a bad deal on a top of the line sports game still in season. I would imagine you won't find a lower price on NBA 2K7 for the 360 until late Summer, after the NBA season has ended.

Too bad the game has a glitch with the Right Analog Stick within 12 feet of the basket and you can dunk on everyone.

I'll take run and gun NBA2K6 anyday over NBA2K7.

Really? Is this something that has been exposed via Online play? I don't actually play it online very often.

the 2k sports series is the shit! Before EA bought the NFL license, NFL2k1-2k5 was WAYYYYY better than Madden of the respective years. I really dislike EA and I try not to purchase their products new if I can.

NHL 2k series has been better than EA's offering for a couple of years now. I've played both sides since the NHL 2k-2k1 dreamcast days, and I've played EA's NHL since '94, but NHL 2k7 is hands down the best hockey game I've ever played in my life, and all of my friends agree.

I've read reviews about the NBA 2k series, and they seem to get stellar reviews, compared to EA's latest offerings. That is great news, and I hope 2k sports gets more and more recognition over EA for years to come. I just can't wait untill EA's NFL license runs out, but I doubt anything will overtake Madden for a while. Madden 07 was quite good, but I can only imagine how good NFL 2k7 would have been!

NBA 2K7 is one of the best sports titles ever made, period. With 12-minute quarters, you just barely rise above realistic stats. The AI is incredible, and so many factors go into your shots.

As for a glitch with the right analog stick, I've never seen or heard of anything like it, and I've spent a lot of time with the title.
