I'm interested in obtaining RPGs for the GBC.
The sort of RPGs I'm most interested in are games like Wizardry, Lord of the Dungeon...those kind of games. I do not particularly care for Dragon Warrior, and Towers was a letdown- I beat the game in 2 weeks, and the last time I played, I finished it in 2 days- NOT non-stop gaming, either.
The games can be for the GBC or the original Gameboy, of course.
Oh- they have to be in English.
Thanks!

I can't think of any GBC Dungeon Crawlers. Deja-vu and Shadowgate classic are first person adventure games though. The three Wizardry titles are also on Gameboy but were released in Japan only. However they are dual-language games and playable in some english. If you're into emulation or flash cards there are even patches to fix what isn't supported.
While not dungeon crawlers there are a few western style RPGs available for the system, namely Ultima: Runes of Virtue I & II, and the two Hereos of Might & Magic games, spin-offs from 3DOs standard Dungeon Crawler series.

To be really honest, I can't say that I'm entirely clear on what type of game it is exactly that you are looking for, but that said, you should get Survival Kids, which is my favorite game on the GBC. It's a weird, incomparable (except to its pseudo-follow-up, the DS' Lost in Blue) RPG where you play as a kid stuck on a deserted island and have to learn how to survive.

How about Metal Gear for the GBC? That's a great game.

the heroes of might and magic games are not dungeon crawlers - they arent even RPGs by my understanding of the genre. I liked the Heroes game on the GBC myself although i was pissed it had a bug and i couldnt complete it. For the most part it was playable though. the Heroes game is like Kings Bounty on the sega geneis. Strategy style game

I thought that Wizardry 2 was available for the GBC- but I've had little luck finding out much about it. I know it exists, but that's about it.
Any screenshots, and information about how to get a copy would be great...

I am 100% certain you don't want to hear it but the Pokemon games have to be mentioned. I assume you've played through the Zelda games?

The first three Wizardry games (Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord, The Knight of Diamonds and The Legacy of Llylgamyn) are available for GBC and just like the WonderSwan version they have a multilanguage option so you can play them in english.

Now THAT is some good news. Must find out what they look like, and where to purchase them.
