In my usual search I've found these 2 carts:

Talking with Nes-a-Holic, we saw that these carts may differ.
One is a MACS Moving Target Simulator and the other is a Multipurpose Arcade Combat Simulator.
So, are there 2 different MACS carts? The DP guide should be updated.

Um...actually, seeing those three, and remembering what the one I trained on in the Army looks like...there's at least *4*. The one I trained on, I believe, was copyright 1993, v1.1 (no letter after it), and the label was typewritten (as if an old-school typewriter had been used to type it).
I also remember the rifle I used was a converted M16A1...

It would be nice that if anyone gets one of these carts if they could send me a picture of the title screen, and I will make up a page on Snes Central about it.

That's really cool to hear, i figured there must be more versions. Maybe more will pop up on eBay.

Evan, I contacted someone at Omega, and this was the reply I received:
I helped develop the software and the hardware designs while in the military and later after forming Omega Training Group, Inc, my business partner and I built over 1200 of these systems for sale to and use by the military agencies. This system worked on light pen technology that read rasters on a screen. It was later upgraded by government agency in Huntsville to work on a laser technology. This system originally was built to work on a Commodore 64. Somewhere in stored files, I have the Basic code that was used to run the Commodore 64 basic rifle marksmanship cartridge.
So for rarity purposes, there are 1,200 total of the two cartridges that exist. (Including updated versions of each of the two)
Glad that is straightened out.

Yes, very interesting. Thanks for the information.
So these are the three carts that exist. The two in ebay and mine.
Each about 400 times I think?

Well, they said there were two different MAJOR games, but there are different VERSIONS to each, so I really should amend that to 600 of each, but there could be updated stuff like the test cart versions, 1.1, 1.2, etc.

Why are these only at $5 if they are so rare and in high demand? What do they sell for?

The price will get higher towards the end of the auctions. The seller writes that 2 previous carts were bought within 24h for 200bux each and wants to let them run and ofcourse get more cash from them then 200.
Wonder how much these will go for, i might have to ask a friend to help out since the seller doesn't ship abroad. :(

Dream, I figured you would be bidding on these, and I was suprised I didn't see, like, "dreamtr67" or something bidding on them. Which one were you? If I had known you were bidding, I would have been a lot more nervous. I seriously thought, as the time went down to about 3 minutes left, "I'm glad DreamTR isn't bidding on this!"
btw: I, obviously, was suckerpunch5

suckerpunch: I have many eBay user names. I don't like revealing which one I am, but you can figure it out with the amount I bid =P Let me know if you ever sell!

They went for reasonable prices, congrats suckerpunch5! It would be great to see some screens of this version and the inside of the cart. Could you post some pics or PM me some if you have the cart?
