I downloaded a trial of some CD-i emulator... but it wants to be hooked to an actual CD-i unit.
Is there any way to try these on the PC?

You mean http://www.cdiemu.org ? I would be surprised if someone hasn't surreptitiously posted the BIOS images out there somewhere, and that would be all you would need.
There's also CD-ice (http://www.emuhq.com/idx/44/168/Phillips-CDi/article/CDice.html), but that's mostly useless.

Here, I'll make it simpler for you!
There is a program to play CD-i games on your computer, yes. However, it barely works with any games, it's unreliable, and it costs something like $30 to be fully functional (and even then, it doesn't work well at all, and is not worth the effort).
Basically, no. You can't play your CD-i games on the PC. If you want to play that stack, you're going to need to get an actual CD-i.

Yeah, then you'll be able to play the Zelda games everyone hates, though they've never played them.
Bonus points to Jorpho for using "surreptitiously" in a sentence.

Are the Zelda games really that good? I love the N-gage.
I'm interested in trading for your CD-I games. Just let me know what you are looking for.

Zelda's Adventure isn't bad. Unfortunately it's also the rarer of the three. Link: The Faces of Evil & Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon are terrible. They're both side scrolling platform games with bad mechanics and high difficulty level. Enemies will literally respawn directly behind you. Not off screen, *poof* right there behind your back. Any bad press they've generated has been well earned.
Zelda's Adventure on the other hand is designed with traditional Zelda gameplay in mind. The digitalized graphics are neat, if somewhat muddy and the only big fault I found with the game was that the sprites are so big that the screen scrolls to a new area constantly. It's like Zelda one, the map is divided into sections and when you leave the game pauses a moment and scrolls over. Trust me, It gets annoying real quick.
Also I don't know what games you have aaron, but I'm looking for 7th Guest.

The local pawnshop has two CD-i's that have been there for a while now, they are about $20 each, but as far as I can tell they are both incomplete with no controller, and possibly no remote. Anyone know how difficult it is to obtain accessories for these things, and would it be worth it to pick one of them up?
I'd be tempted to make you an offer on the games if I did get one, aaron.
