Hello everyone!

That's right, I'm moving on to my SNES collection next, there will be plenty of auctions with this lot. I have the entire US collection, complete in box. They will be auctioned similar to the NES set, starting price will be higher for these though, probably between $7 and $9.99 considering they are all complete and well over 90 percent are in near mint condition or better. My NES collection was overall in excellent shape, all of you who have purchased games from me know this, but my SNES is far superior.

Auctions will start on Wednesday February 7 and run A to Z, about 100 per week or so. I will give you more details as it gets closer, I'm just in the mode of recovery from all the NES so by next week, I'll have a better idea how many in total we have. I know I have about 150 factory sealed games as well.

Like before with the NES auctions I will CONSIDER presale offers here until the auctions start, but then its off to ebay. Feel free to PM me or email me at kazz@itol.com. This is now my BACKUP email address, I changed my primary one because of all the ebay and paypal scammers out there trying to get access to my account. Otherwise just post your questions here and I'll return the comment, usually within a day.

I will post more as I figure this all out. :)

Thanks in advance!

Danny

Danny, I sent you an email in regards to a few games CIB.

Out of curiosity, do you have Super Copa CIB and Miracle PIANO CIB as well for sale?

After some careful thought and consideration, I have decided not to sell this as originally planned. Instead I will be auctioning all of my SNES items in ONE huge auction by the end of the month. It WILL have a large starting price and will have every game in the US set, complete in box.

Sorry to everyone looking for individual games, but I no longer have the time or energy to invest doing this individually like I did the NES stuff.

Anyone interested in making me a legitimate offer on my entire SNES lot before I place it on ebay is more than welcome to do so, but please realize it will take an offer well in excess of 10K to even make me respond. I will be taking a ton of pictures over the next week, anyone interested in making a serious offer I'll gladly send the pictures to.

Thanks

Danny

Well . . . that sucks.

for me, I mean. Aren't you afraid you won't get very much that way?

Darth Vader

I'll get more than enough this way plus there's lots of people who will buy it this way so they don't get hammered on shipping individual games.

Considering the NES complete collection auction prices relative to NES game individually, I'm wondering if complete collections will actually go for more than lots or individual games.

Ye, i think you will make more selling all together in 1 big lot, especially when its a complete set. Good luck :)

Well, damn I've been saving and waiting...well for no reason.

Hmm, I guess I'll be scouting ebay then.

I'd actually prefer it if went in one big lot, not that I'm going to be buying it (although I wish I could to nab that off of my list of goals), but it will be really interesting to see what it goes for.

Darth Vader

I'm interested to see where it will end up all together, plus I just don't have the time to do it individually since I'm running for office here. Too many other things to do other than live on ebay :) By the way, I WILL NOT be shipping this internationally. This will be a US only auction.

This is just too awesome. It's a shame you have to sell it, but I've been throwing the auction link to everyone I know, just to get a glimpse of the dedication this hobby requires. A couple have shown actual interest.

Granted, I'm pretty sure that won't happen.

Hmmm, I am sure you saw the SNES "grails" auction someone from Australia added. do you think that auction will interfere with your own auction? very impressive lot by the way.

Darth Vader
03-17-2007, 03:52 PM
Not really. I won't ship this out of the US anyway, there's always stuff to buy on ebay so I'm not concerned. I think the dude selling that is a member here and tried selling all of them before. I'm pretty sure this is the person who was paying insane amounts of money for those games (like 1K+ for each game) Maybe someone can find that post.

Ive never had any intention to interfere and also never tried to sell this games before , ive had few multiples of FF Guy and DKC Competition that ive sold on the past but never on this condition.
I really need money for my daughters new private school and my wife is giving me a hard time:-) .

Anyway , I wish you all the luck on your auction Danny.

Thanks Cruzway. I don't feel you're interfering. I've been pretty surprised with the response so far. Over 56,000 page hits and nearly 1000 people have it on their ebay "watched" list.

The only real "question" I've had is the shipping costs. Its gonna cost nearly $600 to $700 to ship all this UPS ground to either the East or West Coast so I made shipping a flat $500, I've also made it known that if it is less than that, I will gladly refund the difference. I'm not trying to make money on shipping, I'm looking to cover my cost of shipping. The blogs have been hitting this pretty hard, but other than that and a million nice collection questions (which I do appreciate, but I can't respond to all them so don't be offended if I didn't respond)

Anyways, you know how to reach me if needed.

Put it this way if i lived on the US i would be getting a Bank-Loan to get your collection but then again only collectors can really see the value and effort this collections take.

Hey, just a suggestion.

You advertise that you'll accept local pickups. If I were you I'd only offer this if the auction is paid for with cash or a cashier's check. If the buyer pays with PayPal and picks everything up himself then you won't have a valid tracking number to provide to PayPal if the guys tries to scam you and files for a charge back. I've said it before and I still believe it. Anything you pay for with PayPal is free to a crooked buyer if you don't have a tracking number to back you up.

Paypal is only for the deposit, read the auction description. I'm not accepting paypal for the entire amount. Plus anyone who buy this and desires to pick it up must pay me 1 week before they intend to pick it up. I think I'm pretty well protected.

Most likely you won't have any problems but just playing Devil's Advocate here, what difference will it make if the buyer pays the deposit via PayPal a week in advance. You still won't have anything to provide to PayPal to show that you delivered on your end of the bargain and they will refund the deposit if he contests it.

He will be able to withdraw the funds beforehand. ;)

hey - don't let them bug you about shipping.

it is stupid when people complain about shipping when they know the cost ahead of time. if you think shipping is too high - BID LESS ON THE ITEM!!!

pretty simple isn't it? more productive than complaining about shipping costs too. :)

Amen to that.

If ya don't like the shipping eithe 1) don't bid or 2) take the shipping into account. people are such bitchers and moaners about shipping.

As long as the shipping is advertised correctly I have np at all.

I really can't believe that not a single person bid on this. This auction had over 65,000 views and not a single person lay a bid. If you think about how much time and effort goes into getting every single game boxed you would think one person would realize that this is a heck of a deal. My only guess is that 99 percent of the 65,000 don't have the money for this and the 650 that do are just plain stupid.

I just dont think theres to many if any video game collectors that would have that kind of cash on hand. Probally people with that kind of money buy, cars, coins, stamps, airplanes not video games..Its a great collection and if I had the money I would buy it. but I like many have to do it one game at a time.

Considering this was on Digg and such across forums, i'm sure 99.99x% didn't have the money and of the less than 10 people who did have the money to blow, maybe 2 considering it and didn't buy it.

I am in negotiations right now with about a dozen people. Thats all I can say right now.

I have relisted it with a lower starting price, if it does not sell I will not relist this anytime in the near future. I've had some offers and interest, but I'm thinking this is the fairest way to do it and everyone knows I will not accept an offer lower than this starting ebay price.

I think I am being patient. I won't be parting out the collection, I'm just selling the sealed stuff off, but the collection itself won't be touched. Who knows? maybe I'll part it off if I can find time. LOL (that's highly unlikely, but never say never :) )
