Can Somwone please help me if they have a solution ? I recently bought a 42" HDTV , Seems when I play certain PS2 games ( MLB the Show 06 ) I can't use pitching part of the game . Somehow the signal don't seem at times to get to screen fast enough . I've replaced normal PS2 cables with High Def. Cabels & problem seems to still be there .Problem is .... When you start the pitching motion & go to hit the X button again to stop pitch it keeps going . Sometimes same holds true with Madden 07 ... Sometimes hitting button Seems to be delayed in game action . Would appreciate it if someone has had problem or at least might know what else I am Able to try

You're experiencing a delay caused by the upconverter in your television. It automatically scales whatever image it recieves to your tv's native resoultion and doing so takes time which causes a several milisecond delay. Unfortunately there is nothing you can really do about it unless the game has an HD calibration setting like GH2 does.

Your TV doesn't have the option to change resolution? That should take care of it. Most TVs should. If not, contact the manufacturer and see of the scaler can be turned off in the service menu, though there's only a small chance they'll let you go that route.
