I dunno, I was playing the Super Monkey Ball minigame golf a few days ago and found myself purchasing Tiger Woods 2004 ($10) at Gamestop the next day.

I have never played golf. I have no interest in golf. But damn is this one fine fun game to play! Is it just me or is this game incredibly addicting to play? I love how I just keep getting better and better. The learning curve on this game is perfect.

The only miss in the Tiger franchise was 06. Any game in the series after 2003 when EA altered it to its current form is worth playing. That goes the Game Boy Advance, N-Gage, DS, Xbox 360, PS2, and even cell phones. It's the best franchise in gaming that no one seems to care about.

I'm not a golf fan either, but this series turned me onto an entirely new set of games I never thought about playing. Tons of great golf, and Tiger is the best place to start. Building up your character never gets old.

That sure is the truth. It is also quite different on every platform. I have Tiger Woods 07 on the PSP, Xbox, and Xbox 360, because the game is great, and different, on each platform.

I try to have a golf game on every system I own:

Atari VCS- um...Golf
NES/Yobo- Golf
SNES- HAL'S Hole-in-One, Wailaie Golf
Genesis- PGA Tour 2, PGA European Tour, AP Tourn Golf
Atari Lynx- Awesome Golf
PS- Tiger Woods 99, Hot Shots Golf 9-hole demo, HSG 2
PS2- Tiger Woods 2003, Swing Away Golf

I used to golf outdoors on quick par-3 courses, even got my wife into it a bit, but now it's easier (& cheaper) to play it on TV!

Adding more love for Tiger here.

Got addicted to Hot Shots Golf, tried Tiger Woods 2004, and haven't been interested in Hot Shots Golf since. Gamereviewgod hit the nail right on the head.

This series is one of the first that pops into my head when I hear "I don't like sports games"
