Okay, the winner of Disney Snow White wishing well paid us through paypal then filed an non reciept complaint within a relatively short amount of time. I had insurance on it and my reciept, and he has recieved the item and is happy enough to leave positive feedback BUT refuses to answer emails asking him to remove the complaint. Until today I couldn't respond to paypal to resolve it because I kept getting errors on their page. (I emailed about that with no response yet) They sent a second warning to respond today. These are the choices I have:
Give a refund
Prove that I gave them a refund
Provide tracking number.

I don't have a tracking #, only insurance # and receipt! I can't figure how to sent that to paypal or if that will help. I don't want this bidder to get the stuff for free, it's over $100!!!

If your insured items are lost or damaged when sent through the mail you can file an insurance claim.

not much i can say other than use a bunch of email accounts and try and contact them, use ebay. What kinda seller rating are they getting. sheesh.

They may have done it on purpose if they knew you weren't using online tracking, or sending to an unconfirmed address. Either way, You're pretty much screwed without an online tracking number (Delivery confirmation #)

Your local post office can provide tracking information from the insurance number, atleast that is what I was told from the post office that I use.

If this is a scammer, you're completely screwed. It has happened to me a few times with paypal. That's why I don't use paypal anymore. Paypal will NOT listen to you. If a person files a fraud complaint that quickly they are going to get their refund. Paypal will reverse the transaction for them with pretty much no recourse for you. I've probably lost on 5 sales and $400 that way. There is no way to really contact Paypal, either, or at least there wasn't a year ago when people started doing that to me.

Whew! They cancelled the complaint this morning. Thank goodness or they were going to get a nasty phone call from me today, lol. I learned my lesson though, even if they want insurance put delivery conf TOO!

Things must have changed then... last year when this was happening to me, I HAD the delivery conf into paypal wanted but when the buyer persisted they reversed the transaction anyway. All 5 times. There was never any contact info available at the time, no email, no phone, no recourse. Just lost items and money.

oops, I meant the buyer cancelled it. I got an email from paypal saying like "we don't need to respond to your comment because he cancelled it anyway".
