Glitchy graphics are everywhere. Can this be fixed with a simple pin-connector replacement, or am I just screwed? Thanks

Posted my comments on the vid. Be sure to do those things in that order - it makes no sense to start with the most drastic remedy first. Hope you've got some rubbing alcohol, but it's like $2 for a bottle that will last you a decade (or more).

Edit: WTF?

Okay, if the comment won't show up, here are the steps:

First, an explanation. In my experience, games often exhibit this behavior because they have a loose or intermittent connection (I've seen it on the Game Boy as well, with Belmont's Revenge and other titles). A game will only be dead if it refuses to show anything (I have a Metal Storm cart that does this, and is probably dead).

1.) Clean cartridge with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol
2.) Keep fiddling around with it until it makes a connection. Be sure the NES is on a solid surface without vibration. The floor is fine, if properly ventillated.
3.) If that doesn't work, clean the cartridge connector (not especially easy).
4.) Remove the cartridge connector and bend the pins inward so they make firm contact again
5.) If all else fails, buy a new cartridge connector.
