What the heck? i just noticed the classis mario bros. classic nes series for GBA is going for like 40 bucks cib on ebay?? it just came out a few years ago?? i bought it for like 20 bucks when it first came out and i remember seeing like 50 of them for sale?? Man! i wish i bought all of them then. Im glad i got a classis edition sp though too. Whats the deal with this game? anyone know?

It's not rare, there's just some insane demand for it.

Which there shouldn't be because the SMB Deluxe port for the GBC is tons better than the GBA port.

I just wish I could play it without that huge cart looking like a sore thumb sticking out of my NES SP.

Yea I agree. I've got them both but hadnt relized there was demand for it. Is SMB the only one?

I have this game complete and the original plastic wrapping still covering the outside of the box. Who knew that a copy of SMB would ever be worth more than the .25 that the original cart goes for. ROFL

ive known about this for a while, its been "rare" for over a year now id say, i picked up a mint in box used copy at gamestop a whole bunch of months back for like 18 bucks and remember being extremely happy about it. still am =D

oh wow, I disagree. Isn't that the one where you can go backwards through the level? if it's the one I'm thinking of, no way is it better than the GBA port.

meh, the GBA port was squashed/pixel-reduced in order to fit on the screen. IIRC, the GBC game was retooled to allow for the GBC resolution

I've never bought it on Game Boy Advance for that very reason. I already have it on Game Boy Color and it plays great on there. What would I want to buy the same game again for? I find it hard to believe the GBA version plays better than the copy I already have on GBC.
